We hadn't visited Heywood House for over a year but are pleased to say Dave still is as welcoming as ever and keeps the hotel clean and serves an excellent breakfast despite the fact he runs the hotel single handed.

Greeted on arrival by Dave who was very welcoming and helpful. We were given the family room on the first floor and this was a large room with a double bed and bunk beds in it and there was still plenty room to move about. The en-suite was a good size too. We had tea making facilities and a hairdryer...

I booked a room via laterooms and later noticed a four poster room for an extra couple of quid so i emailed asking if we could have that room instead and Dave was great at changing our booking! Welcoming, clean, good decor. Not grotty and tired like many hotels in Blackpool. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Facilities to reheat takeaways and eat them in dining area. Really good stay. Will come again.
