Excellent stay. Staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really nice, cooked to order and meet whatever requirements asked. Close to seafront, within walking distance. Brilliant rates for rooms.

I booked in this hotel for 2 nights and payed £124 but me n my partner ended up having a barney drunk but we can't remember this but they rang police and had my partner arrested for nothing when he had fell asleep but he had all the bank cards etc on him and I had nothing on me and...

Had a great weekend at the Lawton hotel rooms newly refurbished. Staff very freindly and helpful. Great fresh cooked breakfast, fresh fruit or cereal. We had 75 girls ageing from 3 to 17 and the hotel were great with the whole group x

I visited here as a coach driver, luckily I wasn't a paying guest ! My room was very basic & very small. The bedroom was ok but everywhere you looked there were issues ! A gap between plug sockets (dangerous), no remote for the tv, dust in drawers. The toilet / shower smelt of poo and there was mould everywhere,...

Lovely hotel with big comfortable beds and pillows that are a dream. Provided me with a travel cot free of charge too for my bambino. We had breakfast included in the room rate which was lovely - both hot and cold options. Located just a short walk from the promenade in a good central location. Oh and parking which is...

Did what it said on the box. Stayed in a triple room, very cramped and bathroom especially small for three adults but only stayed one night and reasonably priced.nice bar with friendly staff. Not really onsite parking though.

We had booked a night at Beechfield Hotel via booking.com.On arrival there we discovered it was closed! I rang the phone number and was told our booking had been switched to its sister hotel The Lawton.No explanation was offered and I had received no notification of the change despite them telling me they had tried to tell me.No phone call...

booked in to a family room on 27th till the 29th December, the room is fine but double bed was so hard I didn't get a good sleep, very noisy in the hotel through the night think it was folk singing and talking loud in there room, breakfast was very good, cereal, toast, cooked breakfast, juices and tea or coffee,...

The double room we had was tiny, 10ft x 9ft approx .there was a terrible smell coming from the toilet/shower room, which was the size of a small cupboard,not one to complain, i opened the window to get rid of the smell and went for a walk.upon returning i closed the window and tried to turn the radiator on but...
