This hotel is tired. There was no swimming pool and no apology from the rude and abrupt receptionist, I realise the hotel did not own the gym but when they advertise the offer of a pool they should be prepared to apologise and explain the situation and not just fob off the questions with the excuse it doesn't belong to...

We chose this hotel because it was near our event and pet friendly. Unknown to us a your guy had checked into the next room to us and then invited 15 of his mates for drinks! How they got into the Hotel God only knows. The noise, swearing and banging on doors was horrendous. We asked for the Manager who...

This hotel could do with some TLC. It is very tired and could do with a spruce up. Staff on reception were friendly. Not much interaction at breakfast. Rooms was basic and comfortable but again very tired particularly the bathroom. Bed was soft but I don't mind that. Breakfast was typical hot and cold buffet style. Nothing amazing. Location was...

My client paid £120 for dinner, bed and breakfast. My allocated room (131) was dire and I had the inconvenience of moving to one that was marginally better. The spa facilities were primitive and in a parlous state. When I commented the excuse was that it is run by an external company, but it is nonetheless advertised as a benefit...

bedrooms are a good size and comfortable. The heating however is in need of upgrading as it relies on electric convector heaters. The staff are excellent and the food is good.

Free WiFi. Con's: The general condition of the hotel is very run down, I did got to use the pool and changed my mind as it was less...

Stayed here on a weekend trip with National Holidays. Ok lets be honest it's not four star and it doesn't pretend to be and if you expect that for a £59 weekend trip then you would be disappointed. Evening meal was good a nice choice of starters, and a decent main (recommend steak pie) plenty of veg etc. Dessert was...

Stayed here for one night as part of a coach trip. We had dinner bed and breakfast included. I agree with other reviews about the hotel being dated and needing a revamp. The hot water tap in the bathroom was dangerously hot, a warning sign would be a good idea. The rooms were of a good size and the bed...
