Stayed twice in November whilst attending the Tigers match, then a meal and few drinks out in town, both visits where on a Saturday. Parking is as everyone states, close proximity and £10 for the night so a decent price. The hotel is as you would expect with it being new, modern, clean and comfortable, booked an executive room on both occasions, on the first stay the room was an adjoining room which I never really like, it had limited work space but I suppose that's what they call "flexible" also a few facilities where missing but nothing to bother reporting. We dined out so did not sample the restaurant, but we had a few drinks in the bar area later that night and the service was particularly good, excellent selection of spirits and background music playing created a pleasant atmosphere. Upon our second visit, the check-in was slow, we were allocated a room (401) which was clearly not an executive room, as we walked in a member of housekeeping followed us into the room, when we asked about the room, she confirmed this was not an executive room. When challenging the reception staff regarding the room allocation as opposed to the booking type, I was asked well what is the difference between the two rooms? After reeling off the differences, it was obvious I knew what room type I had booked, as per two weeks previous, and what was allocated, we were then allocated the correct room type. Again, the bar was a pleasure to have a few late-night drinks in after a meal and drinks out in town. £160 for a midscale hotel (their description) in Leicester of all places is quite expensive so you expect to be allocated the correct room type paid for.

Room was clean, modern and comfortable. Food was excellent with lots of choice at breakfast in particular. Every member of staff were very attentive and always friendly and helpful. Close to the centre and reasonable price for parking. Very happy, would recommend and would return.

This is a lovely new modern hotel. The rooms were adjoining, and very cosy. The view was to the back of the hotel, which was less than spectacular to say the least. Our room overlooked a roof and bin store. Room cleaning staff are superb and each day our room was immaculate when we returned. The shower was ok, but quite weak. TV is huge and our sofa turned into a bed (albeit very uncomfortable). We ate room service twice as our children were too tired to sit downstairs and we needed them in pyjamas. Sadly there is a £5 charge to all room service orders. Check in was odd as reception staff are stood behind giant plastic screens in a very small foyer which didn't feel warm or welcoming. We ate at the restaurant on the evening, and the food was quite good. A choice of Pizzas for children would have been great but not to worry. We were warned about delays on food before we sat down, which was strange as the restaurant was only a quarter full. Our stay was 3 nights so we had breakfast in the restaurant each morning. We sat in the same booth each morning and what concerned me was that my daughter dropped her muffin under the table on morning 1, and the remnants, plus other food, were still there on morning 3. We watched a young lad go around spraying tables and wiping them without moving any of the cutlery, condiments or serviettes. He simply sprayed and wiped around them. I couldn't believe my eyes. And most definitely, No one is cleaning under the tables. The breakfast was nice, and a full English. The quality of the food was excellent in that respect and kids eat free in Novotel's for breakfast which was great. The hotel is in a great location across from the Cinema and 2 mins walk into Town. We must have walked past reception staff 8 or 9 times when coming and going from the hotel, and not once did they lift their heads to acknowledge us. The hotel didn't have any parking which is an issue, so we had to park in the NCP at the Holiday Inn which is a 10 minute walk with bags. This hotel could be so much better than it is. Its brand new. It just needs someone to drive it, improve customer service, or another hotel to give it a little competition. I will probably revert back to the Holiday Inn next time.

We wish we could turn back time and make your stay more enjoyable than what it was but unfortunately we were not given chance to put things right during your stay with us. We decided to leave the screens at our reception and other areas of the hotel only to safeguard our teams and guests due to the fact that we have guests staying from all around the world following different guidelines. As we are a popular hotel we not only serving food in our bar/restaurant areas but also in our event rooms and due to Covid we are struggling to find staff same as most other businesses which is stopping us going at our full potential. We were certainly disappointed reading your comments regarding cleaning or lack of it but please be assured that your feedback has been shared with relevant department to avoid future occurrence. In regards to the car park, we have 13 signs around all major roads directing guests to hotel car park and we can only assume that this was an oversight by you. We have also advertised postcode for our car park on all major booking platforms including ours. We stayed here for one night and the hotel is great. The car park is a 2 minute walk from the hotel and is £10 for the night. We were in an Executive room on the 9th floor and the room was lovely. Aswell as the usual shower gel and shampoo there was a dental kit, shaving kit and vanity kit. The hotel is in a great location opposite the Highcross Shopping centre with plenty of restaurants opposite. We had the breakfast in the morning and it was great. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the centre of Leicester.

Stayed one night and arrived mid morning. Parked the car and booked it in at reception, told that the overnight fee was £10 which I thought was very reasonable. Went back to the hotel at 1500 to book in and this went very smoothly. Allocated room 322 which we found to be spotlessly clean, spacious and more than adequate for our one night stay, The bed was comfortable and for me, the pillows were ideal, although some people might find them too soft. Very large TV in the room and plenty of storage space for longer stays. The bathroom was of a reasonable size and the shower was one of the best I have used in any hotel, lots of pressure and hot water. The bathroom wash basin is a triumph of design over functionality but it serves its purpose. Breakfast was good with a wide range of food on offer and the bacon was excellent, but the sausages could have been better. Overall we enjoyed ur stay and found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful and we would certainly stay here again.
