Couldn’t fault this hotel for the price. It was clean and fresh. There was a mix up on arrival due to the booking agent but the hotel rectified this as quick as they could. The shower was outstanding, have always loved a power shower. There is a large car park but it is first come first served. We booked breakfast for £5 each and to be honest I wasn’t expecting a lot for the price but it was brilliant! You had the choice of toast, pancakes, croissants and cereal as well as a full english. Definitely filled you up for the day. …
Clean and quiet room, good location near the city centre and bus terminal The staff member Laima was extremely helpful and friendly. The wifi connection was tricky, though. Will definitely stay here next time in Leicester!
This hotel is very dated and poor state of of repairs The hotel was very dirty the curtains and nets are very dirty and some rooms there wasn’t any in the room The staff members had poor communication skills and could not commend English We had been allocated a room on the first floor which was not clean or ready and we had to go back and they gave another room in the 3rd floor and we noted that the bathroom was leaking on the floor with wet patch every where I contacted the maintenance staff which had checked it out and we had again been offered another room however it had no net curtains and when the windows open, there was a very noisy high road and over a flyover which we had declined and the staff member put down some towels for the second room The beds had been very uncomfortable and did not get much sleep We had also requested a twin room which we had requested at checkin changed to double and had been told that the hotel was fully booked and yet they gave us a choice of three rooms We inquired about the breakfast and had been told that it was £9.45, which was very pricey however due to my medical needs I had to have one before we left. The cooked breakfast was 1 sausage 2 strips of grilled and burnt beacon hash brown, an egg & some bake beans I they said they run out of mushrooms for that price it was stated unlimited but the way the waiter served it was it was limited. Was not told about coffees teas of anything Poor service as there was only one person in the dining area When we checked out was asked about the stay and when we had stated the issues the reception staff was not even listening We would never stay at this hotel again…
Stayed here on September 5 for one night with my wife to watch a band at the musician, we had food there in the evening and breakfast. Excellent value for a budget hotel, clean and staff are courteous we will stay there again.
We stopped at the Campanile on the journey home to break up the long drive after our holiday - after reading the reviews I was concerned but there was no need. The room (407) was clean and a good size, if you’re looking for the savoy this ain’t it but it is absolutely price appropriate and the staff were friendly. Thank you for a pleasant stay.…
