On the up side, the building and hallways have wonderful charm, and is situated in a great central location. On the down side, the rooms are very dated with shabby 70s decor. most disappointing was the so called breakfast, orange juice, some fruit, and some cereal served with UHT milk is not a nice way to treat your customers .

I stayed in the the old rectory this week and can safely say never again .the decor is dated to say the leased but I could deal with that ,but what did displease me was the lack of cleanliness the dust and hair on every surface was awful the carpet in the room was dirty and I would not walk...

Nice big room, older style. Bath, no shower (in my room anyway). Friendly staff, good breakfast, pleasant breakfast room. Very short walk to Lincoln Cathedral and restaurants / shops. There's a coin laundry close by as well.

Called in to book a room 2 weeks ago saying that there rooms available. I've confirmed and willing to pay the fees to secure the room. The receptionist said that he had confirmed the booking and secure the rooms for me and asked me not to worry. So I gave them my contacts and details, and yet they did not...

The Old rectory is a throwback from days gone by. The building is probably Victorian , the bedrooms, no two alike range from Doubles/singles and twins with on suite to the same with shared facilities. There is a comfortable dining room but no bar. The owners and staff are very obliging and friendly, and there is adequate parking. The proximity...

OK - Carpets, Curtains, Shower, Paintwork, Furniture - the whole place needs steam cleaning and the bedspread belongs in a film about WW1 But...£55 for a family room, great breakfast, friendly host, free parking and LITERALLY a stone's throw from the centre (yet nice and quiet) - you can't complain !

We stayed one night here and were very happy! The house has real character and charm with plenty of information and very friendly hosts. Our room was massive! The breakfast was lovely. It is in the best location you can ask for for seeing this wonderful town. Comfy beds with TV, wifi, tea and coffee. All in all I feel...

Stayed on several occasions and find it great, If you want plastic all the same and being treated like a number, don't stay here, but if you want a welcoming smile from the eyes and mouth, a breakfast cooked for you, a house full of character (with an owner to boot!), and really friendly staff, pick this one. Location superb,...

Walking distance to great bars and restaurants, excellent breakfast and a friendly welcome. we have stayed here 3 times and each time I have slept like a log. Not a sterile chain of accommodation that could be anywhere but a place full of character and interest. see you soon!
