Just a one night stay but cannot find fault with this hotel. Excellent location, welcoming staff and comfortable rooms. Parking available opposite hotel. Breakfast limited but perfectly adequate. This hotel is in the heart of Old Lincoln and perfectly situated between the cathedral and the castle

Weekend in Lincoln and having been recommended we decided to try the White Hart for afternoon cocktails. The choice of cocktails is very extensive with each one being made to order, and depending on the member of staff some being made with a bit of a show. The bar it self is part of the hotel and gets extremely busy...

Lovely location, friendly staff and clean, comfortable room. However, the room we stayed in overlooked the street and we suffered a lot from the street noise. This included engines from cars, people leaving pubs and the bells chiming from the cathedral. There may as well have been no window at all with the clarity of noise coming through our windows....

Stayed one night on a business trip - room clean and comfortable but very hot no air conditioning and the windows were painted closed so unable to get any fresh air - I switched the radiator off but it took hours for the room to get to a comfortable temperature. Interesting bathroom, photo attached, but may be not if you...

Excellent food and surprisingly nice house wine with a quality service at a reasonable price.Seating was good considering the amount of clientele that were in the restaurant at lunchtime. As this was a Saturday and a Wedding reception being held there. we were lucky to have such attentive service.

Been to the hotel and the facilities are wonderful, being so close to the cathedral and castle in Lincoln. The service in the restaurant was ok, one colleague a bit grumpy, another have excellent service. Place cares for customers however we had an incident in the bathroom which resulted to a trip to the hospital at night and despite stressing...

A hotel, that I last visited in 1980 does not seem to have changed, at all. Not that easy to find, but when you do it is worth it. Friendly reception, took my bags away to my room. The room was splendid and very well equipped and presented. A trip to the restaurant for dinner and breakfast were well served,...

Positives: Great location in the heart of the Cathedral quarter. It's a classic inn but apparently refurbished so that it fills the standards of a hotel. Ammenities included soap, shampoo, shower gel, shower cap, tea&coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board. Very clean room. They provided an adaptor for european socket. Negatives: The price was quite expensive for a Tuesday...

I spent another night in this beautiful hotel while being here for the second time in two weeks. It is old fashioned but absolutely authentic. British style as much as you like it. So close to the cathedral and castle! Absolutely recommendable! And breakfast is good and reasonably priced.
