We love The Old Bakery ❤️ we last went January 2016 so we are definitely over due another visit! We had the taster menu last time we went and every dish was fabulous, the wines were matched perfectly as well and the waiting staff are always attentive and extremely knowledgeable. We love it here and we'll definitely be back :-)

pleasant and comfy room. Great Breakfast. Handy for the Cathedral, the castle and the amazing Museum. We came and went by train and the walking (despite being at the top of the hill) was very enjoyable.

We ate here on new years Eve and had the 5 course taster menu. Absolutely delicious food, each dish was beautifully balanced;a real artistry to the combination of ingredients and hard to pick a favourite!

We visited for the 2nd time tonight to celebrate my husband's birthday along with our 2 children and 2 close friends. We were not disappointed - again torn between the tasting menu and the a la carte menu. In the end we all opted for the latter. The choices available, stunningly presented, cooked to perfection, made for an amazing culinary...

I stayed here with my partner and another couple during the Lincoln Christmas Markets. The B&B is suitably placed, quaint and idyllic. It's located above a restaurant and only has 3 rooms. The two we had were decorated to a very high standard, clean and cosy. Breakfast was also great. The only issue we had, which is nothing the B&B...

Starters were very very good up there with some of the best, very tasty and well presented. Deserts were very good and well delivered and very tasty, not being a desert person I was very...

It is about 10/15 mins. walk I to shops and town centre down steep hill. Walked back up the cobbled Motherby Hill. Quite steep but worth it. Go into castle and through grounds to get to quaint cathedral quarter shops and cafes. Castle is well worth a visit. Room was extremely cosy and comfortable. Would go back.

Great place to stay with a super restaurant and wonderful food. Rooms are tidy and clean and gives a lovely feeling of homely ness. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here especially as the location is good. Parking can be tricky though.

“If you get to the Old Bakery and it appears closed ring number on the door and someone comes to let you in. It is a restaurant below the rooms so be prepared for some delicious smells. ”
