The owner is a genuinely friendly and helpful chap. The breakfast was very well cooked from quality ingredients. Very convenient location for castle, cathedral, museum, etc. Free wifi and parking. Lovely garden at the back. I would not hesitate to stay here again. It could do with a bit of an update and if you like to sleep with the...

We recently spent two nights at Ochard guest house. Stephen was a great host and made us feel at home. Our room was clean and comfortable. Stephen's breakfasts were dellcious and he was a wealth of knowledge on what to do in Lincoln. A ten minute walk to Lincoln cathedral.

As this guest house had very good reviews, I phoned to enquire about a booking and a recorded message informed me that at present phone queries were not being taken. I was advised to send a query by e.mail. This I did but sadly have not received any response. Makes me wonder! I have now booked a different b&b for...

Stephen, clearly loves engaging with his guests. He is a former chef and the breakfast is excellent and a pure delight. But the whole place needs a slight overhaul and a bit TLC. The chairs in the nicely designed breakfast room are in dire need of replacing. And our room was somewhat dated and the shower room needs to be...

I stayed at Orchard Guest House for 1 night (14th) Room 3 which is double with en suite. The room was tastefully decorated and accessorized and had a really comfy bed with good quality linen. The shower was good and ample big towels were supplied. Breakfast was top notch and freshly cooked with quality ingredients, there was also plenty of...

I traveled alone for work booking a double with en suite. Great location, though beware the steep hills to the city centre. Excellent breakfast, Stephen does delicious scrambled egg. Nicely decorated throughout, very 'cosy' feel. Stephen is attentive but relaxed and made the whole process a delight. Very reasonably priced. Will recommend to everyone.

The guest house is well located midway between the old town and the riverside area. We had room 2 and 3, Room 3 over looking the garden was suitable for our needs, nice view over a lovely garden and very quiet. Room 2 did get a little traffic noise in the morning, but where don't you and really you should...

This is a lovely house in a good location close to the uphill area but at modest cost. We had 2 rooms; the one at the front got a bit of road noise so if this bothers you ask for one at the back, which overlook the garden. All well equipped and comfy beds. Friendly host and excellent breakfast. A...
