When I reserved in this hotel I was happy, because I had booked in the most iconic hotel in Liverpool, in an excellent location. The building was inaugurated in 1914 as the most luxurious hotel outside London. The thing is the hotel is still in the past and lost all the glamour that could have had in past. My overall...

Very friendly and efficient staff. Room was clean and spacious. The hotel has kept most of the original features which gives it a nice atmosphere. Rooms are reasonably priced, however I felt the breakfast was expensive at £11.50 so I crossed the road into the town centre for breakfast. Parking is not clear - it is the large dirt carpark...

The Adelphi was built over 100 years ago and the décor reflects this,. It could do with a lick of paint in places but its clean and comfortable. Our rooms were warm and there was plenty of hot water The food was OK- a good choice at dinner buffet and a full breakfast. There was also a tribute band and...

Finding the hotel was easy once I'd followed the signs to Lime Street Station it was fairly obvious that it was next door and then around the hotel block to approach the foyer and adequate if not a little tight parking. Not very pleasant the smokers congregated on the front steps with their associated litter, I was able to decant...

We went...

I've stayed in hotels from hostals to 5 star all around the world - and I am not picky. But this place just takes the biscuit! Bed was the worst I've ever seen completely ruined, place is a tip, and just to make things worse everything is a rip off - 7 quid a day for wifi in your room,...

We have stayed at the Adelphi twice & have a third visit planned later this year. Rooms have been great,(504-509) Nice clean warm & quiet rooms. All the staff we met were great & friendly. The restaurant (Jenny's) was brilliant too. Can't wait to visit again.

The room is a smoking room (which was not stated when purchased) located at the back of the hotel that stinks and is very loud, the beds were uncomfortable and squeaky. The room had no complementary soaps and the wifi didn't reach my room. Disgusting.

Just terrible, dated rooms, bathroom was absolutely disgusting, the most uncomfortable bed ever I had to try to sleep on the chair, couldn't even sleep then due to the drafts from the window. I was booked in for two nights for work, I left after the first night and when I asked to check out early, no questions why or...

3rd time we have stayed here. Great city centre location. Rooms are clean but very dated. I appreciate that this is a very old building and was a very grand hotel in its day but little improvements would make it better but still retain its old style i.e. New carpets to replace thread bare ones refurbish the bathrooms new lighter...
