INNSiDE by Meliá Liverpool garners praise for its prime location, deemed great and convenient by many guests, situated close to attractions and transport. The atmosphere is lauded for its modernity and cleanliness, with special mentions of the complimentary drinks, though it doesn't impress everyone.
While some guests find the service slow, the friendly and professional staff, along with well-maintained rooms, contribute to the hotel's overall cleanliness. Reviews frequently highlight the amenities, especially the Sky Bar and river views, although opinions on value vary due to the pricing of drinks and restaurant service.

Hotel's Favourite
Amazing hotel; rooms are very modern, light and airy with high ceilings. Huge bed and shower.
Complimentary drinks in fridge
Secret garden and sky bar are fantastic with lovely cocktails . Excellent service in Gino’ restaurant; food was fabulous.
Plenty of choice at breakfast they just need to advertise that you can ask for eggs to be cooked to order and veggie sausages
The Gino reward scheme is great; as we were staying at the hotel we had a complimentary drink with dinner and 10% discount. I asked 3 members of staff about the complimentary drinks. I felt that a better system could be put into place where hotel bookings and dinner booking are combined so I didn’t have to ask about the drinks
Hotel is near pier head and has lots of Italian Restaurants close by
I would definitely stay here again

Hello lawrenceEngland, Thank you for your lovely feedback! I could not agree more when it comes to the amazing cocktails from Gino`s Secret Garden and Skybar - and as a bonus I have to mention the breathtaking views of Liverpool from the 18th floor - what more would you want? Noted your feedback regarding the complimentary drinks and I can assure you that our teams are working on a better system in order to improve this service. I do hope to see you again with us in Liverpool! Thank you , Roxana-Catalina Assistant Front of House Manager

Me and my partner had never visited Liverpool before so we spent a lot of time looking through hotels to see which one would be the best for us. We came across Innside by Melia (Liverpool) and we just loved everything about it. The thing that sprung to us the most was the riverside view rooms and that’s the one we decided on for 2 nights B&B.
They have an agreement with the NCP car park so that’s where we parked the car for 2 nights and then on check out we were given a voucher to scan at the machines and it knocked the price right down £8!
Check in was really easy and quick and everyone on reception seemed very genuine and happy.
Our room was on the 9th floor and when we walked in we really did say ‘wow’ The room was absolutely stunning, with a great river view. It was quiet, clean, accessible and just overall great. We heard absolutely no noise the entire time we was there so it was very peaceful. In the morning I’d woken up to look outside and there was a huge cruise ship (I believe it was) right outside and I personally loved watching everything happen!
We did use room service, the menu was the Gino D’campo one so it was fairly pricey but it’s definitely expected in a 4 star and we did come prepared.
Breakfast was a buffet and overall it was yummy and filling! There was a huge range of cereals, meats, cheese, pastries, the lot! I left feeling full and happy.
We had one night in the 360 sky bar and it was definitely a different experience for us, it felt very professional and the service was great! We did order some food but it had turned out the kitchen had closed (by 15 mins) but we weren’t disappointed, it was only a last min decision to order food. But, because the ticket had gone through the amazing chef still made us the food we had ordered and we couldn’t of thanked him enough. It was a really kind thing to do and in honour of our appreciation to him we bought him a pint! Everyone we interacted with in the sky bar were friendly and approachable which really makes the atmosphere.
The hotel is within walking distance to all the high street shops and only an Uber/drive away from other activities such as Ghetto Golf which was so much fun!
Overall, we had a really great time here and when we decide to come back to Liverpool again, we’ll definitely be staying here!

First things first, we had a great time in Liverpool and this fantastic hotel. I’m giving it 5 stars as that’s what it will deserve when a few issues have been sorted.
The room was visually the best I could have hoped for. We stayed in a townhouse and the river views were out of this world. On the Sunday morning we woke up to the view of the Queen Elizabeth! The bed super large and super comfy.
There are a few issues which wouldn’t be issues in a cheaper hotel but at £504 for 2 nights you do expect certain things. First, there’s no dressing table with mirror so my fiancé had to put her make up on using the mirror over the sink. My Fiancé found this a little frustrating. There is a table with a coffee machine on it but no mirror. I feel the hotel should put a mirror on each table in the hotel to solve the easily solvable problem.
Secondly, the light in the toilet is on a censor and it’s only on for 10 seconds. Quite frustrating waving your arms around in the air whilst on the toilet swing for the light to come back on. You have to do this every 10 seconds.
Thirdly, one of the reasons we booked this hotel, in fact one of the main reasons was to use the rooftop sky bar. Unfortunately it was booked up and we were told you have to book at least a month in advance. I feel this should be stated at booking. We felt a little cheated with this as on the website Melia use this as a major selling point. Unfortunately though you can’t use it unless you book it. I wish we had been told this and we had to rearrange or evening as we fully expected to spend it up there.
I really don’t want to sound negative as we really did have a wonderful stay in wonderful city in a wonderful hotel and we certainly will return. In fact I’m thinking of booking again for December so please don’t let my negative points put you off booking.
The hotel reception is stunning by the way. The bar, restaurant area is super spacious with a really great vibe. A perfect spot for pre evening drinks.
A special mention to Micheal and (I think) Irene? on reception. They really are a real asset to Melia and were so lovely and patient at check with us at check in as I’d left my phone in the taxi and had no way of paying! (We did get it back and the problem solved thanks to the wonderful taxi driver bringing it back).
Michael I think felt a little sorry for us and, upon hearing it was my wife’s 50th birthday gave us an upgrade. He was a real calming influence in a really stressful situation!
Thanks for a great stay and we will be back, only we’ll bring our own mirror next time!

Loved the feel of the hotel as soon as we walked in. All the staff are attentive, smiling and helpful. They really do the hotel justice. The rooms have floor to ceiling windows and they truly make a difference. It gives the rooms a nice holiday feel. The pillows are ridiculously comfy and the bed was good too. Only thing I would say there is that the duvet is very thin and it did get a bit cold in the night.
Now, the shower is behind frosted glass so
It leaves nothing to the imagination. Consider this if you’re not intimately acquainted with your roommate :) The rooms were so quiet and I can’t recommend them enough. Was also a nice touch to be able to get a room service breakfast.
However, the massive downside was Gino’s restaurant and I’m including it in the review as it is part of the hotel. The restaurant looks great and was completely booked out. The staff are also lovely and again attentive. Unfortunately, the food was awful. We waited over an hour for breads which we then sent back as it was burnt and covered in cooking oil. Then the mains arrived and I don’t exaggerate when I say they looked like something you would have been served many years ago as a school dinner. The steak was tiny and the fried uncooked. The chicken in mushroom sauce looked so bad that the table next to us laughed. Hence we sent it all back. The waiter was lovely and so apologetic (raph I think?) but we left at 11pm starving and having to order a pizza.
For the price of the food and the overall state of it I would highly suggest avoiding here and eating at one of the many amazing restaurants nearby.
The hotel…amazing and highly recommended…Gino’s not so much.
Finally…make sure you get upto the Sky Bar but book well in advance as it gets so busy. It’s really worth it.

We had a really nice stay at the hotel Easter Friday. The hotel itself is really nice, clean and modern. We stayed on the 10th floor and had a lovely view of the city, particularly nice at night. We shared a twin room and we had everything we needed in the room. The beds were really comfy and we both had a great nights sleep.
The “bathroom” is within the bedroom apart from the toilet which is private. Although parts of the shower glass are frosted, I wouldn’t share a room with someone where you would want that to be more private. Because I was sharing with my mum it wasn’t the end of the world. My only very minor criticism of the room is that it could do with a dressing table. The only mirrors are a tall one and the bathroom one where you have to stand or sit on the floor infront of the tall mirror to do your make up and hair.
We ate dinner in the ginos restaurant at the hotel which was really nice. We also ate breakfast which was a buffet with lots of different options, also really nice. I am coeliac and one of the members of staff ran through everything I could eat & brought out some gluten free toast for me which was a nice touch.
Staff were really friendly and offered to store our bags for us when we checked out. To my surprise, as I called before we stayed to ask about the car parking and was told you don’t get a discount at the capital car park next door, I mentioned it when we were leaving and you do get a £8 discount for staying at the hotel & parking at this car park so that was a nice discount! You just need to get a little card to scan when you’re paying to exit the car park. It only cost £16 in the end for a night which I thought was good being in the city centre.
The hotel is close to everything only a 10 minute walk to the cavern club and down to the riverside.
Overall great value for money and a lovely hotel, would definitely stay again!

Dear Daniellelouise25, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review based on your recent stay with us and what a lovely review to both receive and read! I am delighted that you enjoyed the room and its view, but also were able to make the most of our super comfortable beds (if I may say so myself!). I was also pleased to read that you enjoyed your meal at Gino's and that our colleagues were able to ensure your confidence surrounding your dietary requirements along with preempting the toast! We look forward to welcoming you back very soon and, Kind regards, Matt

I wanted to try this new hotel for my visit to Liverpool as it looked impressive on the pictures, it's very impressive considering it was an old office building that has been converted to a hotel.
The design is modern and attractive, the furniture in the lounge and restaurant looks good but is also comfortable.
My room was spacious and comfortable, a huge bed, floor to ceiling windows for a great view of the city while you are in bed and I loved the integrated bathroom with excellent glass shower cubical.
The choice of food at breakfast was very good quality and also in the sky bar in the evening.
The staff on reception were friendly and helpful and gave me great advice on the best way to get to the stadium for the football match I had come to see.
The only thing that did let the hotel down, although I'm not sure if it's down to the actual hotel was the service in both the sky bar and the restaurant bar, on my first night I had reserved a table in the sky bar but after being seated I waited 30 minutes and tried several times to attract anyone's attention.
I was about to leave when someone finally came but even after ordering, which took a while as the first three things I asked for on the drinks menu were out of stock, my drink still took ages to arrive, the service did improve with my food order and other drinks but then had a similar experience in the downstairs bar the following evening, I know they were busy but not totally full, however this didn't spoil my stay and I will stay here again and hope the service does improve.

Dear Thomas17755. Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on your recent stay with us and I'm delighted to read that overall you enjoyed your stay. I'm thrilled that you found your room to be spacious and comfortable, and also agree that our integrated open-plan bathrooms are fantastic. The showers are great! Also pleased that our colleagues at Reception were able to assist with some local knowledge and that you were able to get to your game on time. Noted however to your experience in both the Restaurant and SkyBar, and whilst this is not representative of the normal experience that our guests should be having, I shall ensure that your comments and experience fed back to the Gino's team. I am glad however that you have not been deterred from staying with us again, and look forward to welcoming you back to INNSiDE very soon. Kind regards, Matt

We had a two night stay, experiencing Liverpool for the first time. We found the location to be perfect.
Check in was friendly, informative and quick. The recommended car park is virtually next door, with only a few steps to climb, so very handy and also reasonably priced.
We stayed in a studio room, which was very spacious and modern with floor to ceiling windows. We liked the fact that it was not carpeted, and the little desk was useful. The minibar was stocked with soft drinks, beer and water, all included in the room price. The enormous bed was comfortable, with good linen. The shower was good, and the loo is separate. The only thing we felt could be improved was the towel quality. They felt a little budget! Could also have used a hook for the towel near the basin. Loved the quirky bathrobes, which made me feel like a martial arts champion!
Breakfast was good and plentiful, all self service. The staff on duty were friendly and helpful.
We had dinner in Gino’s which, again, was excellent. Extremely good spaghetti with clams and a very friendly waitress.
The sky bar was very quiet when we were there, so we enjoyed quiet, fabulous views with our drinks which was ideal.

If you bring your car and park next door in the NCP Fazeley St, expect to pay full rate for car parking! You don't get discounted parking as the hotel's QR code they give you doesn't work.
We are still trying to get a refund from NCP which put a dampener on our stay. We had to pay the full rate because the carpark attendant told us there was a problem with their system and the hotel QR codes.
The hotel is nice and new but the room had issues, the TV wouldn't work and the old 'dialing style' phone looked quaint but didn't work. The safe was locked, it was a bad place to put it, as when left open, the door stuck out and could cause you some pain if you accidentally walked by it. So you couldn't easily leave it unlocked for the next guests.
The fire alarm went off when my husband was showering on our first morning, it stopped after a few minutes by that time he had got out and dressed rather rapidly. So we assumed it was a false alarm, I then started my shower and the fire alarm went off again, with an automated "leave the building immediately" message too!!
Because it happened again, I got out fast and dressed, that was when we tried the phone to call reception. The dial stuck and we couldn't ring from our mobiles as there was only a main booking contact number for thr hotel chain. We couldn't find a number for the hotel reception.
So we had no alternative but evacuate, I was still wet under my clothes!
The alarm had stopped but we didn't take any chances. We walked down 16 floors not seeing many other guests vacating their rooms. The alarm stopped again as we were leaving, I was suspicious as it wasn't sounding continuously.
At the ground floor everything was normal in the breakfast area and reception. We found a member of staff who confirmed it had been a genuine alarm and she'd found the fault which had triggered the alarm and shut it off. So there was no need for evacuation and she apologised.
It was annoying that in a modern building, they had no tannoy to announce that we need not evacuate the building.
The aircon wasn't great as it dried the air out during the night. We paid extra for a river view and the hotel was higher priced than others nearby, and the restaurant prices were expensive for what we had.
Good points were the helpful room service for our issues and lift security

Myself and my colleague stayed three enjoyable nights at the brand new Innside by Melia last week whilst visiting the city for the annual RCGP conference. This is my second experience of the brand - having stayed a couple months prior at the newly opened Melia in Newcastle - and it won’t be my last. The hotel is stunning with a lovely bar / restaurant downstairs and another rooftop bar (although the nearby Panoramic 34 gives a better view). Everything throughout the hotel is brand brand new and it’s very swish. There’s a great gym on the first floor, too, with a good array of brand new gym equipment including an array of aerobic stuff as well as a weight bench and even a large screen to follow classes. The basic twin room we shared was small and has rather an open bathroom set up for a couple of colleagues but it worked and the view from the 9th floor was good. We were both disappointed to see that the TV doesn’t have the option to cast, though. We had someone up from the front desk who rang her manager who rudely explained that our tier of room didn’t have this feature. It felt awkward. Like, the TVs are all brand new smart TVs. They should cast. We aren’t plebs, we are staying for business and hence didn’t get a suite. But a small point. Would I stay again? Most definitely. An important point for those booking is to be aware of the less than ideal parking so I’ll quickly cover that. It’s priced at £8 (a discounted rate for guests) which is great but which is also at the NCP ‘Capital’ - a typical old NCP, pillars everywhere, low ceilings set up. You park and then pay on exit, as it’s ANPR. What’s potentially confusing is there is only one meter to pay at and it’s right by the exit to the car park. There’s also lots of pedestrian exits to the oddly laid out car park so you can find yourself getting quite lost. But at least now you’re reading this you’ll know more than we did. All in all, it’s a great hotel and I’m sure you’ll find it a good option for any kind of traveller.

I stayed at this hotel for a hen do back in February. There was a group of us and we were all paired off into separate rooms. The check-in was easy and the receptionists were really friendly, so this was fine. I cannot fault the people that work there as everyone was so lovely. Anyway, I was sharing a twin room with my brother, so you can imagine our surprise when we get to our room and the entire room is open plan apart from the toilet. Just the toilet. The design of the rooms are very modern and stylish, however, this isn't convenient for times when people might be staying with family members or strangers in the case of a hen do, even with part of it frosted (because it doesn't really do anything as you can still make things out through it). So, we would like to make a suggestion of maybe having a sliding part that you can slide across to cover the shower, just in case people aren't comfortable with it. The room was mostly clean, however, I did notice that the toilet floor hadn't been swept properly. There is also a service charge on everything in the hotel, but there is nowhere that indicates this at the bar. I checked and I think it should be made a bit more visible to customers so they are aware. We ate in the Gina Decampo restaurant next door. My food was quite nice actually though rather limited options, but most of the hen party ordered steak. They were expecting a steak with maybe some vegetables and chips, but instead they received a steak, which took up one side of the plate, the other being empty, and a small bowl of chips. The bride to be mentioned this to one of the waiters at the time, but I questioned whether we're just used to bigger portions in Yorkshire! After tea, we went to the Sky Bar, which you do need a hotel assistant to allow you up. It was really noisy, but the view was nice. Only we ordered a round of drinks and ended up waiting an hour for them. Thankfully, the manager gave them us on the house as an apology, but this ruined the plans of the bride to be to do more that night. We ended up moving to the bar downstairs again where we ordered another drink from there (with another service charge), and then headed to bed where we slept on lumpy mattresses, so not a great night's sleep! As I said before though, the staff were amazing and really lovely, and the design of it is good too, but just beware of the service charge, small portions and the open plan rooms. (This review takes into account the experiences of eleven people).

There's an NCP car park next door, if you google the prices will be on there.
Phone the hotel.
There is a nearby multi storey and cost us about 20.00 for our overnight stay
