I stayed at the Hope Street Hotel on a Saturday night as a birthday treat. The room was spacious, comfortable, bright and airy. There were some really nice touches, like touch-sensitive lights, power showers and a massive comfortable bed. We drank down stairs in the bar area, which was quite busy but a really nice place to sit, drink or...

Although located on busy Hope Street our room was not excessively noisy but light sleepers could benefit from taking ear plugs. The room was excellently furnished, clean, spacious with a comfortable bed. Car parking is on a first come basis and is off Back Hope Place. Albert Docks are an easy 20minute walk away and there are lots of decent...

We stayed twice in two weeks at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stays. The rooms (studios) were spacious and clean, the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to any prospective visitors to Liverpool. Only very slight downside was the very low lighting in the rooms although there was a table...

We booked to accompany our traditional annual visit to hear The Messiah at the Philharmonic. We have a season ticket to The Phil, and if I could afford it we would stay at Hope Street Hotel (directly opposite) every time. The rooms we have stayed in (2 so far) are quite something; contemporary styling, lots of wood and style, very...

We arrived early on Saturday and called in to arrange parking and to store the luggage as we thought we'd be too early to check in. We were told the room was ready which was a nice surprise. Check in was excellent, the lady gave us advice on restaurants and places to visit and provided us with a map. We...

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip here at the beginning of January. Great staff and better service. The location is good and easy to find and get to with plenty of public transport nearby. I found the value of money was excellent. I will definitely return. Thanks

Highly recommend this hotel. Room was really nice and spotlessly clean. Friendly and approachable staff that can't do enough for you. I was also really pleased to find the food in the London Carriage Works was locally sourced and high quality (I always check this!). Tasted amazing too. Will definitely be back here! Jon R

It has taken me some time to write this review because I cannot express how bad our experience was here. We were staying here for a family wedding for which a year worth of planning had go into. We do live locally and with hindsight would never of stayed here. They decided with no warning to turn the water off...

We spent four nights at Hope Street this December, including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and could not have enjoyed better comfort and service. Beautiful, interesting, clean, excellent food and drinks, and such a festive atmosphere. A perfect location, too, walking distance to the main commercial areas, a brief taxi ride to Albert Dock or Lime Street Station, good restaurants...

Dear John N, Thank you for such a lovely review, we are pleased you enjoyed your Christmas stay, we do love that time of year with our guests. Our apologies about the front desk issue, we keep our staffing a little lower over Christmas as we are quieter than average, but we should have still had a full-time desk presence....
