The Titanic Hotel Liverpool offers an elegant ambiance steeped in historical charm, which guests consistently appreciate. Travelers commend the spacious, well-appointed rooms and the hotel's overall cleanliness, although some have reported maintenance and noise concerns. Service experiences vary, with reports of both friendly, efficient staff and instances of slow, unprofessional service. While the location's industrial appeal is noted, its distance from the city center has drawn mixed feelings. Amenities, including luxurious bathrooms, generally receive praise, despite some frustrations with the spa bookings. However, many guests consider the hotel overpriced due to costly extras and service charges.

We stayed as a couple for 1 night in a superior dockside room. Incredibly impressed with the hotel, at check in Lisa was friendly and advised us on everything we needed to know for our stay.

We stayed in room 130 which has two large windows overlooking the dock. Photos do not do it justice, the room was huge! The bathroom alone was the size of average size hotel rooms I have stayed in - with a large walk in shower, large deep bathtub and his and hers sinks.

The hotel is around a 25 minute walk to Albert Dock, and taxis/ubers cost between ÂŁ5-ÂŁ8.

Was very impressed with the breakfast, plenty of choice; hot food, cereal and even a pancake machine. Coffee was also great and we were even able to get a latte from the bar included in the breakfast!

Two weeks before our stay I had contacted maya blue wellness to book in to use the pool. Was slightly disappointed as they were only able to offer a two hour slot at 9am on the morning we were checking out. After using the facilites I feel that ÂŁ20 for hotel guests is a steep price for what you get! The pool is small and spa facilities are average at best. I have still given the hotel a 5* rating as I appreciate that this company works alone and it not owned by the hotel. They should however really consider coming up with an better agreement with the spa to offer a lower rate to guest of the hotel, what they are currently charging is just greed.

Dear 63jenniel, Thank you for the lovely 5 star review. It was great to hear that you had a lovely time. Thank you also for your feedback regarding Maya Blue Wellness. We feel that the cost for residents is very reasonable and this is support by the fact it busy, hence you only being able t get in at 9am. The pool is a hydrotherapy pool not a swimming pool which dictates the size. Best wishes Brian

Firstly I have to say we had the best 2 nights stay away at the titanic hotel, our first visit. I’d read lots of reviews which were mixed however I have to say we were so pleased.
We turned up to the hotel, the car park is operated by barrier and is a pay car park, however only ÂŁ5.00 for 24hrs.
As soon as you pull up it just feels really lovely, the reception area is lovely and was manned with some very helpful and cheerful staff. Check in was so quick and easy. We had booked a superior dockside, wow just wow. Walking down the corridor to the room felt amazing, quite dark but really modern. The doors were all sealed to say they had been cleaned, on opening the door we were in amazement at the size of the room and how it was all set out. The bathroom was huge with a large walk in shower and a lovely big bath. The bed was so comfy, pillows were to form for me but hey you can’t have everything. The room included tea and coffee and bottles of water.
We are at Stanley’s grill and bar, we both had a steak dinner which was just beautiful and not too over facing. We enjoyed quite a few cocktails with our meal, due to current situation the rum warehouse was not open but we were able to enjoy drinks at dinner.
Now I had read the breakfast was disappointing but I don’t know what these people expect. We were down to a table, provided straight away with hot drinks and a continental basket, which included pastries, fresh juice, bottled water, yogurts and fresh fruit. We were then provided with a choice of toast. Then a full English, i has the meat one and my husband had the veggie option, there was plenty to go at and you can choose how you have your eggs. I honestly can’t fault a thing, all waiting staff were just amazing and friendly.
I can not wait to go back in the near future.

Myself, girlfriend and daughter booked an overnight stay to accompany our trip to Liverpool to celebrate our daughter's exam results.

The hotel is easy to find, well signposted as you get closer to it's location.

The building looks like an old mill, or factory. If you're looking for a hotel with great views then you'll be disappointed, but having said that we weren't bothered by any noise from the local businesses.

The foyer/entrance is very nice, as you enter you can see the bar area which looks very nice.

We headed upto our room, on the second floor and our room has a view of the car park and surrounding buildings. The corridors to the rooms are very dimly lit, and are very long, so could appear a little sinister and reminiscent of horror films( not too put anyone off)

The room... wow! It was massive. High ceilings, bare bricked. We had a double bed and also a fold out sofa bed, which is a double too. The room contains plenty of furniture/cupboards for storage if you were there for a few days. Aircon worked a treat too. I always find these old factory conversions can get very warm.

The bathroom is huge too, a reasonably sized bath, a massive glass sided walk in shower. Two wash basins with a huge back mirror. Plenty of fresh cleans towels and toiletries.

We did use the bar area later that evening. A nice selection of drinks on offer.

The following morning we didn't use the breakfast service, although room service is available.

There is also a spa available to use, maybe next time.

Positives;
Easy to find
Plenty of parking(although it's not included in your stay)
Rooms and bathroom are massive
Clean/tidy
Pleasant helpful staff

Negatives;
Bit of a drive/taxi ride out of the main city centre
We didn't see anything else in the local area
Bathroom was showing a bit of wear/tear, definitely needs some tidying up.
Our room had some wear in the carpet, one section was a bit 'ruffled' like it wasn't fitted properly

I would recommend this hotel, and I'm sure we'll stay again. And hopefully make use of the spa too.

The Titantic Hotel was a lovely additional to a Liverpool weekend away. The hotel sems to be fairly new and has a modern/ minimalistic feel as soon as you walk through the door. The staff are very friendly, the decor is very stylish and the rooms are soooo spacious. I have never seen a hotel room with so much space!

The only downside being that having so much space, the rooms can feel a little empty and are extremely dark! Limited lighting in the rooms makes it very dingy. Our bathroom was also dirty and we were missing robes and slippers that other hotel guests seemed to be supplied with.

Breakfast was nice with plenty of options available.

Dear CRose202, Thanks for your review, I'm not sure where you have been though, we are 6 years old! The lighting is a well talked about with all of our guests as it isn't to everyone's taste but we love lit and it represents the bowls of a ship. Please always let us know if something isn't to standard as we would rather be given the opportunity to resolve it rather than trying to explain ourselves via our keyboards. I am not sure what room type you were in but only our Superior Dockside rooms and suites come with robes and slippers but again if you'd have spoken to us whilst here we would have supplied you with some! Best wishes Brian

We have just spent 2 wonderful nights at The Titanic Hotel to celebrate my birthday. We have stayed at many hotels over the years; this is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in and definitely the9 largest room. The suites must be massive.
The hotel itself is wonderfully quirky with wide corridors and high ceilings. Lots of little features from when it was a warehouse.
Staff are very friendly and helpful and everything was well organised.
We had a large ensuite with bath, big shower, two basins, good sized towels and complimentary toiletries.
The room has a super king size bed with a comfortable mattress, small table and chairs, dressing table and living area with sofa and easy chair.
It was lovely to get water and a coffee machine as well as the usual tea and coffee.
Breakfast was room service only due to the situation and we were provided with an excellent selection of items.
The only niggles were the small TC that didn't pick up BBC channels, no biscuits and nowhere in the bedroom area that was well lit enough to put on makeup.
We were aware this hotel was a little way out from the city centre, but there's a bus stop right outside if you don't want to walk or drive.

I stayed here this week 1st to 3rd September, the hotel was booked for a surprise by my Fiancé to celebrate his birthday and our 1 year engagement. We drove up from London and found the hotel very easy to get to. We parked our car outside the front door in their car park which was perfect as you knew your car was safe. We got complimentary parking as barrier was under repair so not sure how much it would be to park there normally. We was greeted at the front desk by a very professional and helpful lady whose name I didn’t get, we had to wear face masks while in the hotel lobby, but was allowed to take them off in the bar area. We was early for check in so enjoyed a drink or two on the outside decking area leaving our bags with reception, and then we checked in nice and easily. Our room (227) was HUGE! So clean and fresh! The room was cleaned both days we stayed with fresh towels and toiletries replenished. The bed was so big and comfy too. We only had breakfast there in our last day and due to COVID-19 it was a bit different to how I suppose it would be normally. We paid £12 each for a lovely bacon and sausage roll, and had croissant’s with jam and some fruit and also a tea and coffee, this was all served take away style, again due to COVID-19, but nevertheless the food was lovely.
The hotel itself is like a museum for The Titanic, with loads of memorabilia and posters, paintings that left you googling what actually happened again! The hotel is a £5 cab ride away from the main town which is perfect for a night out, highly recommend San Carlo Italian restaurant and Sargent Peppers bar that had live music till 1am, but there’s loads to choose from.
Very clean hotel, professional and helpful staff and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Really excited about staying here but feel let down. They do not make it clear that if you want to use the swimming pool, you need to book well in advance use of that. Never had that ever at a hotel that charges as much as this, normally you only have to book in advance for treatments not to just sit in the pool. Be aware that if you are booking to stay here in all likelihood you wont get in the pool as they only let a very small number in it as it is so small.

The location is too far away from the shops and restaurants, you could not walk it. So every time you want to do anything you have to get in a cab.

Restaurant could not get into either. This hotel’s facilities are too small for the number of rooms it has.

Dear Gay547, Thank you for your review but disappointed with the comments as they are factually incorrect. Its made abundantly clear and has since we opened that use of the Thermal Suite at Maya Blue Wellness does need to be booked in advance and is chargeable. This is on our website and all third party websites as well as confirmation. We are not like other hotels that have swimming pools, as we don't have a pool for swimming. Instead we have a hydrotherapy pool which forms part of the thermal experience. As its a hydrotherapy pool, it is small and therefore needs to be controlled by a reservation system. Hotels that have a "swimming pool" which is full size are part of a bigger fitness facility thus allowing all hotel guest to use at leisure, its a completely different experience. I am sorry that you couldn't get into the restaurant either again we recommend booking in advance because we are popular. The hotel facilities are used by residents and non residents as we have ample covers for the occupancy. Best wishes Brian

Me and my partner stayed to the titanic at a very strange time during COVID. We felt very safe and clean within the hotel. They had definitely taken extra precautions to ensure the hotel is safe, throughly cleaned, social distanced is kept. They placed a seal over your room once it had been cleaned which is a fantastic idea (I have attached a picture). In the restaurant your cutely was provided in a sealed packet ensuring no one else had touched it. The breakfast service was good under the circumstances. A full English breakfast was brought to your table (which wasn’t the nicest breakfast, very fatty meat and the scrambled egg was uneatable) including toasts, and a hot drink. A basket full of packaged items was also provided, such a yogurts, fruit juice, croissants, muffin, water.

All the staff were lovely and welcoming, helping us with anything we needed.

The hotel design is like none other. Very unique and different. The bedrooms are very spacious, furnished lovely. The extra finishing touches definitely make a difference.

The hotel is located slightly outside of Liverpool centre. Only ÂŁ5 in a taxi or 30 minute walk.

I would definitely recommend and return. Thank you

I stayed here as part of birthday night away. Booked the dockside view room which was approx ÂŁ130 with hotels.com.
On arriving the receptionists and staff where lovely and very helpful.
Once we got into the room it was very dark but spacious. I don’t understand paying extra for a dockside view it was absolutely pointless. Maybe it was just our room but you have to stand at the window to see the dock and the only thing you can see away from the window is the old warehouse across the water which is getting building work done.
On using the shower it flooded the bathroom as the plug was blocked.I phoned the reception who said they would send someone up straight away to sort the problem out. A man arrived and handed me about 8 towels which I used to clean the bathroom myself 🤦‍♂️
We asked if it was possible to book into the pool which you could do for an additional ÂŁ15 each even though you where staying at the hotel.
On going down for breakfast we found out we weren’t on the list as it had been booked through a different web site, which was are own fault for not double Checking. That said we asked if we could still eat and they wanted £18 each, I’ve never had a breakfast worth £18 in my life. Especially when there are loads of local nice cafe’s in the area.
The reception staff validated our car park ticket all ÂŁ5 of it due to the inconvenience of having to spend the morning cleaning our own bathroom from a blocked plug. Cheers!

Reception staff 10/10
Room 6/10
Value for money 4/10
Won’t be rushing back!
I’d pick a lot of other hotels over this any day of the week.

Dear joeyw306 Thanks for the review. It was a shame that you didn't check your breakfast wasn't included in your room only rate and that the use of the Thermal Suite is also not included, the info is all there on line when booking. Sorry to hear that your bath flooded, there was a little more to it than a blocked plug and being asked to clean it yourself but lets not make a fuss about it and please accept my apologies. We stayed for a love on the docks offer, this is our second time at the hotel and covid restrictions didn’t not affect the overall experience at all!!!
Staff are amazing, friendly, not intrusive and can’t do enough to help, from front of house to housekeeping, they are a credit to the hotel!!
Uber to the Albert docks/city centre takes 5-10 mins so perfectly located.
Breakfast was buffet style, served to you by the staff who were equipped with Ppe, plenty of choice but one small criticism was by the time you’d been served and gone back to your table the food didn’t keep its temperature.
We used the spa on the check out day (must book in advance) and it was amazing despite most facilities being out of use due to covid restrictions, this didn’t take anything away from the spa at all as the hydrotherapy pool was more than enough luxury!!
We did book a express back, neck & shoulder massage each and although this was lovely we didn’t get the full 25 mins treatment time which did leave us slightly disappointed when paying £40 each for what was no longer than 15 mins.
We were collected by the therapists bang on our treatment time so once you’d been briefed and settled on the beds you lose a good 5 mins and it was finished before the 25 mins allocated duration. This was our only gripe!
Will definitely be back next month for another visit as we LOVE the titanic! It’s amazing value for money but please PLEASE address the parking charge for residents!!
