Booked this hotel as a surprise for my husbands birthday. Booked a deluxe room. Arrived at 1.30 and good start, our room was ready, well almost. We had to wait another half hour for towels. Also the room description stated free mineral water and slippers. Wasn't bothered about slippers, and water arrived after a call to reception. The room was...

Had a great stay at the Hard Days Night Hotel. Was there with 7 friends for my daughters birthday. All went well until I realised I had left three return train tickets in the room. Apparently they were thrown out, but staff couldn't check the bins. I was left having to fork out £158 for more tickets! So , remember...

I have known this hotel since it opened. Great idea and theme albeit a little tired round the edges now. Apparently this is a listed building - according to the totally disinterested lady on reception. That explains why there is no soundproofing. If you are on the wrong side of the building you will not go to sleep until 2:30am...

Very impressive hotel, centrally located for Liverpool One, the shops, restaurants and all that is on the waterfront. The rooms were great with a super king bed and nice decor obviously all on the Beatles theme, had everything we needed. The buffet breakfast was of a high quality with plenty of choice of fruit, cereals and cooked and nothing was...

Just back from an overnight stay the main positive is the location excellent you could not get better (I know I am in Liverpool all the time). My room on the 5th floor was lovely and big the bed was very comfortable which MIGHT be the only reason I will return. The shower was lovely and overall the room was...

First impressions were great door man with top hat who offered to carry my bags, reception staff great. The room however was very tired, tickled carpets and mould in the bath/ shower. Water didn't really get hot enough for a bath and the window sill had quite a lot of dust in it. Loved the theme and the size of...

The hotel is central to the shopping area and around the corner from the cavern on Mathew street, the staff are friendly enough and there are lots of tourists staying here for the beatle memorabilia, the bar four serves great cocktails and I would highly recommend.

We stayed 2 nights over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel has lots of atmosphere, lovely large rooms and very comfortable beds. There is a bar and lounge, serving great cocktails, and there was entertainment on both nights. The doormen in particular were very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

My lovely wife surprised me with a trip to Scotland, Liverpool, and London to celebrate the completion of my masters degree. This hotel in Liverpool is absolutely horrendous. The carpet is nasty and tearing from the seams. The pillows had some clear slimy substance on them (the manager snatched the pillowBefore I could photo it). The ceiling is leaking! The...
