I'd say it's about 30 minutes walk but you can catch a bus towards Stratford (£1.50) card payments only that will leave you about 5 to 10 minutes away walking distance from the Olympic stadium

Not a good place for being central, you need to find a Premier Inn or similar around Leicester Square/Covent garden areas, get a tourist map so you can easily find where you want to go and Oyster Card best bet for travelling... More
