My daughter is a big fan of his majesty Gordon the first. Our meal did not disappoint. Our waiter Micheal made a recommendation for a two course seafood that I would not have picked but thoroughly enjoyed. Service just right. I'm sure I've typed 200 characters by ow but trip advisor says I have to add more.

A pre-booked Sunday lunch in the restaurant with children and grand-children to celebrate what my wife calls 'Fifty Years a Slave'. Pol Roger champagne was produced promptly by the exceptionally attentive staff and the small children were swiftly provided with pizza - which they greatly enjoyed - while adults examined the menu. Delicious black-pudding croquettes and olives filled the interval...

Stayed here for 1 night in room 8, beautifully appointed room, a home from home. You just could not fault the room, beautifully proportioned, excellent decour and a fab bed. Reception could not of been friendlier and very professional. Breakfast was perfect and ranks as one of the best I've had in London, service was exceptional and overall a lovely...

The service in this Restaurant is terrible. It took 15 mins for me to get a glass of water. I was jammed in a corner between 2 tables to the point I and the staff had to squeeze between them to get at my table. Got my starter handed to me and didn't see any member of staff until He...

We stayed here with a Red Letters Day voucher purchased by my fiancee for my birthday. Unfortunately, when we arrived we had not brought a part of the voucher which might have been required leaving my fiancee quite upset - as we tried to work it out in the bar area the waiting staff were exceptionally polite and offered us...

We spent a very enjoyable evening at one of the Gordon's restaurants, the price expensive on average (considering that we drank a lot!) and a careful Italian assistant manager who helped us with the right drinks and food selection, made very special our night

We had a dinner for two, we decided to try the combination menu and really liked the taste of the food and the wine. Nothing to complain about it, you can really notice that they've paid attention to it. The staf was friendly, but one of the waiters, might be the host, is really present in a "direct in your...

We stayed here for the weekend. The room was lovely. Old fashioned and very modern at the same time. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. When I booked I'd mentioned we were coming to London to celebrate my husbands birthday. When we had dinner they presented him with a birthday pudding plate. The food was great. It's a...

We stayed at the York and Albany as part of a Red Letter Day trip, however we chose and booked this hotel ourselves. The Location was good, just a 5 min walk from Camden Town Tube, and a 10 min walk to Camden Locks with its food stall which are a must do visit. The hotel reception is found around...

The room was excellent, very clean, good shower and considering it is on a busy road i had a restful sleep. We had drinks in the main bar, good cocktails and the staff were very friendly. We had a table booked in the restaurant and probably had the best table for two in the house, very comfortable high backed chairs....
