We were very pleasantly surprised by the very good standard of this accommodation despite the relatively low price for London. As self catering, it is excellent to make up your own breakfast, but surely you could do a full meal if you wish. The rooms were very clean and functional, not fancy at all but comfortable. The staff were very...

Friendly welcome. Spacious room with kitchenette that had basic equipment although no kettle. Bathroom fine with good shower but could do with smartening up as bath panel loose and sink tap wobbly. Fresh towels and beds made each day. Great location for Bayswater Tube station and Hyde Park.

Absolutely Cheap!! Stayed in this apartment a couple of times. A bit of renovation needed to enhance the standard to a more contemporary setting. The reception should be enhanced with sofa, a bottle of water should be available at the lobby. Nevertheless, I would stay here again. Biyi Modile

It was convinient as we lived so close to the metro and also many places to eat. The staff was very nice. The room was really worth the small amount of money we had to pay. But as in most places in London there were some cracks in the walls and all that.

The hotel is a good choice if the reason for your stay is to go partying and you could not care less about the quality of your environment. We stayed with my boyfriend in a double room for six nights. What first struck me was the disgusting kitchen area, with a huge moldy/wet/burnt stain on the floor in front of...

The booking process went wrong & when I tried to call the apartments they didn't pick up and took 24 hours to respond to my email. Apparently they do not deal with people over the phone. The apartment was in the basement with no natural light and a window which overlooked a wall. You couldn't open the windows as it...

Room 108 on the first floor. It was very noisy and we could hear traffic from the outside of the hotel as well as those passing by our room inside the hotel. The room smelled musty and moldy. There were leak stains on the roof, broken/loose tiles in the bathroom, and mold in the shower. The worst part of the...

2 of my friends and I stayed here from Feb 20 - Feb 27 and my carry on luggage got stolen from their luggage storage room. They were not helpful with helping me retrieve it nor did they compensate for any of the stolen items. The worse part was the manager avoided us from contacting him the whole time. Also,...

Do NOT stay here. I stayed here in February and my friend's carry on which had some of my items in it was stolen from the hotel luggage area by another guest. The area was next to reception and was supposed to be supervised by the reception staff. The total value of the bag and its contents was around $700...

After booking a night to stay here on what I thought was a good deal on Sunday with my wife and daughter I was shocked on how filthy and inhabitable this place was. It was dirty, stank of smoke items hanging off in the room, it came across as a slum not a serviced apartment. After walking in the room...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
