Stayed here one night for business and the hotel was perfect for that purpose. Loved the location and the staff was really nice. The breakfast was also good and everything worled well with our meeting arrangements, food and drinks. Might stay here again.

I have been going to the Mayfair bar since 2004! Atmosphere always welcoming and at the weekends it's lively. Rooms are nice when I have stayed there and food has been good. The cocktails are amazing!! One of the best mojitos come out of the Mayfair and a lethal duluxe martini! They have a cigar terrace as well and a...

Room was quite small and compact for an executive room but had everything we needed. Not a fan of eco-friendly big bottles of toiletries in the bathroom but bed was very comfy and room quite sound proof. The bar was very lively- if rather dark and noisy on a Friday night! Breakfast was very luke warm and served on cold...

Slightly disappointing, we entered the family room and noticed that the mini bar was empty and one of the shelves in the bathroom was unclean! I have been traveling throughout number of year and this is the first time I came across this! Not very nice to see the shelves left with soap marks on!! Upon calling the manager on...

I visit the Mayfair hotel regularly, the ambience, the attention to detail of the staff is great. The rooms are very clean and tidy. The Mayfair hotel bar is an excellent spot which is very relaxing during the day and then comes to life at night. 5 stars to David who always goes beyond the call of duty to ensure...

My husband and I stayed for two nights at this hotel, for a mid-week break. On arrival, we received a warm welcome from the front desk and the reception area was impressive. The reception always had beautiful aromas, it was spacious and offered a helpful concierge and guest relations service. Disappointingly we found out on arrival when requesting to book...

Just spent a fantastic 4 days at the London Mayfair Hotel. Our arrival was greeted by a very warm and professional receptionist and this pleasant atmosphere was evident for our entire stay. Dinner at the "Mayfair kitchen" was a lovely experience, our compliments to the staff and chef who ensured our wedding anniversary was an evening not to forget. As...

I feel the hotel fell rather short of our expectations of five star. We were celebrating a 50th birthday, four ladies. It was just ok, pricey for what we received. It would have been nice if the staff had made suggestions as to where to go. Service charge put on everything, be careful. I dont mind sometimes but £5 to...

The perfect place for Xmas day. With nothing else open in the evening thankfully the bar was open. Hotel was just perfect. Food at the restaurant was amazing. Another top hotel you have to try. Staff were perfect and so helpful. The room was so roomy and a great mini bar.

Lovely few days at the Mayfair. Hotel is beautiful. Reception staff amazing. Mayfair bar staff very attentive, doorman and concierge couldn't do enough. Ate in the kitchen restaurant for dinner one night food was fabulous, only to be spoilt by inattentive waiting staff and warm white wine! Which was disappointing. Still wasn't cold enough half way through the main meal....

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
