I often stay in London and find this hotel to be very convenient. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and adequate for a budget hotel. The pub next door is also handy and a good place to watch the football with several screens available.

Firstly, take into account this place is a travelodge. You shouldnt expect the same as other hotels. That said, all amenities i could want, resturant and bar on site. Cooked breakfast in the morning. Not your 'normal' Travelodge. The staff were really friendly and i enjoyed the banter with them. Food was good and very reasonably priced. Definately consider staying...

Had a good time here, room could be changed slightly! Whenever we stay in a hotel there is always bedsides tables with plugs sockets so we can charge our phones etc. The plug sockets was at the other side of the room! Cooked Breakfast was ok, not to my liking! Only had it once

Great value, Great location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Sylvester who sorted a change of room for me, when the heater didn't work in our original room. There is a bar that serves food and drinks before and after your night out. Great pizzas for a late night snack. I would definitely go back and would recommend this...

We arrived on the evening of a tube strike and had to use a taxi from Victoria Coach Station to the Travelodge. It cost us £55 for the trip. On arrival at the hotel the receptionists registered our arrival and activated our door key. All within 15 minutes. We had prebooked the accommodation along with the breakfast. The hotel is...

Quite central. Restaurant and bar very handy indeed! Squeaky floorboards though (Room 510) throughout the whole room. We had the window open throughout the night because my partner gets hot in his sleep; you can hear the trains early in the morning, and got dusty in the room, but the noise didn't bother us. The pressure of the sink tap...

Recently stayed for 3 nights and found it to be a pleasant hotel. All of the staff are very welcoming and friendly. My room was on the road side rather than the rail side and was very comfortable and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and enabled me to have a good nights sleep. Any negatives would be the food...

Stayed here for one night. The room was clean, comfortable and warm. The location is really handy for Tower Bridge and the tube. The staff were really friendly and helpful and seem to genuinely enjoy welcoming their guests. I would recommend this as a good value place to stay that doesn't cut corners on quality or service.

After having stayed at the Euston branch of Travelodge I wasn't holding out much hope but I was pleasantly surprised! Great warm welcome from Sylvester, friendly staff and the rooms were a great size and very clean. The only issue was that the room was so hot on the 4th floor! I turned the heat down but the housekeepers kept...

This hotel is clean and basic, comfy beds but those on the side of the station are a little noisy so avoid if you're looking for a lay in, ideal for business users, good 4g signal. There is a bar and restaurant but I've not tried these, Tower of London is literally round the corner.

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
