Came to London to celebrate our friends wedding at the tower bridge & couldn't have booked a better hotel. Great 2night stay, spotless, lovely welcoming staff, brilliant price & couldn't have been better location. We will definitely be returning

This hotel is in a great location, the rooms are a good size and spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds, The all you can eat breakfast is great value if you have a big appetite and if you don't then opt for the lighter breakfast. The staff are excellent, very friendly and quick to solve any issues that may arise....

Very pleased with this Travelodge. Room clean, staff very helpful, location amazingly good. Room perhaps smaller than some Travelodges but it is central London. Breakfast generous but if you prefer there are plenty of other places very close. Am planning to stay again. Gripes are small (I've given 5 stars) but would welcome more Wi-Fi and not having to have...

Rooms were clean and a good size. The bed was comfy and the hotel well situated with helpful staff also. However, the bedroom was pretty much on the railway line and as there is no air conditioning the window had to be open which meant we got very little sleep.

This hotel is plain but has all you want, next to Tower of London and Tower Bridge and 2 minute walk to Tower Hill underground, breakfast was great so a thumbs up, first time I've been to London and wasn't disappointed, plenty to do, look out for the wether spoons which isn't far from the hotel as its food is...

This was the second time I had stayed here with my 13 year old daughter. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable and breakfast sets you up for the day. Would definitely stay here again. One tip is try and get a room overlooking the street, the traffic noise is less than the train noise of the DLR.

I cannot praise this hotel enough, it was our first stay here and will now use this hotel as our preferred choice when staying in London. The reception staff were brilliant nothing was too much trouble, my daughter who stayed with me is 7 months pregnant and needed more pillows these were brought to our room with extra towels immediately....

I stayed for 4 nights with my 10 Yr old son. The staff were friendly and helpful, service was efficient and prompt. The room was clean and comfortable. Perfect for central London... Relaxed but busy few days, will definitely use this next time I visit London.

We stayed here 28th August for a weekend break, check in was really smooth. We paid for an early check in for ten pounds. We were in room 405 which is at the front of the building, a good size room and very clean although there is some traffic street noise. Breakfast was fine and all the staff were excellent,...

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
