Situated close to King's Cross, the Hub by Premier Inn London King's Cross hotel garners appreciation for its excellent location and accessibility to public transportation. Guests often commend the warm service and cleanliness of the hotel, though some have experienced slow service during busy periods. While the modern atmosphere and design are well-regarded, the rooms tend to be on the smaller side, and noise from air conditioning units has been a concern for some. The hotel's value is seen differently among travelers; many enjoy the reasonably priced breakfast, but others point out the increasing rates and extra charges.

We’ve stayed in the larger Premier Inn down the road before, but we like the Hubs when we stay in London. They’re cheaper, but serve the purpose of having somewhere reliably good to spend the night & have a decent breakfast the following morning before heading out for the day. The staff were very helpful when we arrived early, they stored our suitcase in exchange for a donation to charity. The room was in good order & what we expected. Breakfast on both mornings was very busy, the staff worked exceptionally hard clearing tables & helping customers. It was lovely weather at the time so the large sliding glass doors were open which helped with keeping everyone comfortable and is a nice feature. We’ll definitely be back.

Hotel's Favourite
A very comfortable two night stay. I was in 6014 with a view of the new Google building. The room was standard Hub, small but well thought through. I worked for a while on the little desk and then went out to Covent Garden for dinner. My sleep was good quality and the shower in the morning was nice and refreshing. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor. I asked for a new towel bale after using the ones in the room to mop the floor. It was there for me when I got back. The air con was needed through the night to keep things manageable. After a second good night I checked out. It was my second stay here. I’ve also used the Hubs near Whitehall and on St Martins Lane.

Stayed here for the second time in 4 months. Great location and rooms are clean. We had a couple of issues the first being our room card was cut off after our first night stay & the heat in the room was unbearable even when we turned the temp right down. Joyce rectified the card issue promptly & the temperature issue was rectified after the 2nd night of sleeping in a sauna lol! It would be better if you could set the room temp Below 18 degrees in the room without having to have it changed by an employee centrally. The breakfast was basic but ample for us to get a drink & quick bite to eat before we headed out for the day. Given the minor issues we experienced it would not deter us from returning. Joyce is a great customer facing member of staff who was happy, friendly, and very accommodating. She is an asset to The Hub.

This budget chain hotel ticked a lot of boxes for me: close to transport (opposite Kings Cross Station), secure, very comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, strong hot shower... The room is very small so would not suit all travellers, but it is so well designed that it felt spacious, especially for one person. There is not a lot of floor space, but room under the elevated bed for 2 large suitcases. There was hanging space for a few items and some hooks. A hairdryer was supplied in the room. The bedding was very comfortable and the two-way shower (rain shower or normal) was a nice surprise. There is no tea-making facility or fridge in the room, but complimentary tea and coffee is available in the lounge and can be taken back to the room. I arrived 3 hours earlier than check-in after an international flight, and was offered an immediate check-in for 10 pound, which I happily accepted. My room was 6017, on the top floor, with lots of natural light and an urban view back towards Kings Cross and St Pancras stations. Despite there being a construction site across the road, the room was whisper quiet due to double windows (that don't open). I believe some rooms do not have natural light so check when booking. The breakfast was inexpensive and perfectly adequate- basic cooked breakfast plus continental options: toast, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, pastries etc. The multilingual staff were friendly and helpful. If you are not planning to spend much time in your room, don't need much space, but need a good location and a good night's sleep, this is an excellent option.

Not a bad visit, however the 2nd visit in 7 days was almost twice the price for a smaller room with very worn bathroom fittings. The broken coffee machine, has not been fixed and the second one had also now broken. Great breakfasts both visits, but for £178 plus £16.00 I would say my first visit was good value and even accepting BH rates, second was not as good, And paid almost double the price.

First time to stay in a premier hub and would highly recommend, if you are wanting somewhere for a short stay and knowing you will be out most of the time. Love the premier eds and pillows, always so comfortable and always get a great sleep. Staff at kings cross hub were lovely.

I spent one night in this hotel. The rooms are very small but that's perfect for 1 or 2 nights. Everything is automatised (check in, light control...). It was clean, functional. The self-check in is really practical when several people are already waiting for the normal check in.

Chose this hotel as it was very near to the station & thought this would be an easy option. We paid for an early check in which was very helpful & reasonably priced(£10) . Though the price for hotel was quite high considering the size of the room, very very small ! Even though we thought we had booked a bigger room . The beds were very comfy , though only 1 pillow each and I didn’t get the extra 1 I requested. Bathroom small, and not very private if you were with a friend & not a partner , Perspex door. Lovely big towels , changed if requested . No tea or coffee in room , though soap & shower gel provided, in refillable containers which is much better than the small plastic most hotel use. Could have done with some paper cups and extra bottle of water in room . Breakfast was very good , plenty of choice & good quality , well worth £8 each . Overal a good hotel for 1/2 nights , just small rooms && big expensive for what you got .

I'm a firm believer in commending staff where it's due but sadly on this occasion I can't. On check in the staff member was quite unprofessional dealing with us. There were a few things missing from the room pillow, towel ect. The Aircon in the room was extremely loud and on check out when we brought this to his attention he found it amusing to argue with us then when I took him to task he found it quite funny. We asked to speak to the hotel manager who couldn't be less interested in sorting out issues. We won't be staying there again.

I have stayed at this hotel over a number of years, beginning in 2017. The beds are comfortable (medium hardness with a supportive mattress) and the rooms are dark and quiet. The rooms are compact and not made for spending a lot of time so it will depend what you are looking for in a hotel. The standard rooms have the bed up against a wall and are quite high up. If there are two people sharing, one will have to clamber over the other to get up in the night. For a little more money, you can choose a bigger room where people can get out of either side of the bed. I keep retuning because it is great for a good night's sleep. It doesn't have the 'extras' such as kettle in the room (you can use one in the lobby area) but there is soap and shower gel and fresh towels and duvet. There is one small green chair in each room, a large TV and good wifi. So far, everything has always worked well including the ensuite (shower and toilet), lifts and eating area. There is a room for storing bags and they offer early-check from 11am for £10 which was great to grab a rest before going out. You can buy breakfast for an additional £8 per person for an all you can eat continental breakfast buffet. It has always been a good value place to stay but the prices have increased significantly over the years which have made it less good value. It's also frustrating that there is no easy way to contact the hotel. It is a few minutes walk from Kings Cross station on flat ground and with green light crossings for the road. Strolling in the opposite direction for a few minutes brings you to Granary Square where there is a choice of shops, cafes/bars and a Waitrose.
