First of all the photos on the website and booking.com are completely fake. No idea how they got those photos. The shared shower was never cleaned. There was a lump of hair in the shower the 3 days we were there to go with the mould around the tiles and barely hanging on fan. If you were going to the...

The room cleaning needs to improve. There were hairs on freshly made bed, and the bathroom needed closer attention. Staff were curt and unfriendly except for the dude on check out. Wouldn't give it any stars if it could be done.

Booked Goodwood hotel in London for 2nights via booking.com. It was said, that we will have private bathroom outside our room. When checking in the man said, bathrooms are to be shared. So it was a lie. Bathrooms were not so clean and in poor condition. On the 2nd floor shower had very poor water preasure. The bathroom on lower level...

Luckily we only had to stay here for 1 night. It's just.....dirty! The room was really small but managed to cram in so many problems. The walls were dirty and cracked, sockets hanging off the walls and a beautiful stain on the ceiling right above the bed. First thing we did was remove the hair infested pillows off the bed...

I figured as we only need a place to stay for two nights and we would be out all the time it would be fine, how wrong I was. The staff where friendly enough but everything was broken the pull switch for the light in the toilets had been ripped off and just left live wires dangling, we had a...

I stayed here just for one night, booked on trivago and it said it had car parking facilities, when I checked this hotel out on other sights it didn't. Not too bad as the train station is a couple of hundred yards down the road but this was misleading. I would advise the hotel to update what they're selling on...

We stayed for one night and didn't expect anything for the price we paid. We just needed a bed for the night before getting the Eurostar in the morning and that's exactly what we got. The bedsheets were clean and the tea bags and sugar were topped up but that's about all it had going for it. The skirting boards...

Photos on website certainly weren't taken in place we were, awful shared toilet on landing and shared shower. Room was cleanish big window panes cracked, staff just thrust key at us and said top floor, kind of place I'd recommend to someone I hate

Well I'm not sure what some travellers want to be honest- this is definitely a get what you pay for place. Stayed here to attend a gig. Location great for getting around. Checking in ok and quick very friendly porter. Gave keys and advised floor. Narrow stairs but this is because the owners have made the most of the available...

This is more of a B&B hotel, rooms very small and lots of street noise, but this is typical for this area, seemed to be lots of families sharing small rooms so could be noisy inside as well. Room was clean enough and bathroom quite well equipped. Probably wouldn't book again or want to stay more than a couple of...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
