This hotel was really quite good, sadly I probably wouldn't stay there again for a few reasons. The first is that they don't have full queen beds, just two singles together, which when you are as tall as me can lead to some real discomfort. Secondly the room never seemed to get cool enough, even though the air conditioning was...

We stayed here for 1 week in August/ September 2013 & had a studio apartment which totally fulfilled our needs. The reception staff were excellent, very helpful & so friendly. The location was fantastic, so close to public transport ie: Earls Court railway station & buses. Marks & Spencer was at the end of the street which was an added...

On arrival there is no parking, the nearest is a 10 minute walk at the Copthorne Tara for £35/24hrs. The room we had agreed, a deluxe with balcony was not available, and the alternative we were given was an appalling joke - a tiny 'balcony' in a basement, down dome stairs and squashed in between 3 walls. The rooms and...

We stayed for a short two nights back in March and were pretty happy with our stay. We had the cheapest one bedroom apartment. It was definitely expensive and not in the best of upkeep, but it was very large and definitely upscale. I can't recall exactly, but there were a number of high end touches that I was not...

We stayed here in March/April for 4 nights. Our apartment was a 1 bedroom with a combined lounge/dining/kitchenette with balcony at the front of the building. We were pleased with the space it provided as other family members were staying in smaller rooms and it allowed for us to entertain in our apartment. It was clean, modern and well equipped...

I have stayed at these apartments before and was very impressed even though we where originally booked into the sister apartments in Paddington which they no longer seem to have. When we arrived at Paddington we where told that there was a water problem in our room and taken to the Kensington Apartments. When we arrived this time i had...

What can you expect of a London apartment? It's never going to be spacious- so this is as good as it gets... the location is a two minute walk from Earl's Court Station. Beds other than those in the main bedroom are sofa-beds.

I booked 4 x Presidential Apartments London suites for my wife's 30th birthday after reading their positive reviews. I received an email stating the booking was confirmed and the card I'd used had been processed. There were 15 of us travelling up together so I called a week before to ask for a room to be ready by 12:00. They...

I have just stayed here for a four night stay with my family, including two children. Perfect! They also...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
