We stayed in the apartments with our young family during February 2014 and had a great time. The staff were friendly and very helpful during our stay. The apartments are equipped to a good standard, with everything you need during your stay. The location is great for Central London, not too noisy and not too quiet, with a short walk...

We stayed at the Presidential Apartments for a week on a recent trip to the UK. I would recommend these apartments to anyone wanting a bit more room than the usual hotel- the kitchen has all that is required to self cater as well as a washing machine/dryer. There are a couple of supermarkets within a 5 minute walk of...

Not sure about this one - it's a bit difficult to know what I was expecting but the name 'presidential' is most likely a stab at irony. This hotel/apartment block suffers from being in London. Like London it is, too busy, noisy and a bit shoddy around the edges. That said I would stay again. 'Better the devil you know'....

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review about our apartments. I am glad you have enjoyed your time in London, you are right it gets busier and busier by the day but I think this is the beauty of this great city. We do have a policy where we take a pre-authorization of £25.00 per night for extras, most of...

A place that just seems too crowded, too many appartments in the block, and like many reviewers here, given an underground appartments , out the back, with a washing machine we could not get to work, the appartment , too small, the bathroom/toilet laughably small, I won't go into details but involves using the facilities sidesaddle, and staff who were...

I have just booked 4 nights stay at Presidential Apartments Kensington. I wrongfully booked my stay in November instead of December. When I call them, within one hour from booking, to change dates I got information that it is totally impossible to change dates. And no money (£ 827.2) could be payed back. I am curious to see if the...

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at the Kensington Presidential Apartments. The location is beautiful and so convenient as it is a very short walk to the station and shops. The staff are courteous and helpful. We stayed in an executive studio with the courtyard. The only slight inconvenience was having a room in the basement down several flights of stairs...

We booked a surprise trip to London for my nieces 18th through Booking.com for Presidential Apartments in Marylebone weeks in advance. We were then told a day before travel the apartment wasn't available. We were offered an alternative in their sister apartments in Kensington. I said that the area wasn't where we wanted to go to, so I would cancel...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your comment about our apartments. We are sorry that read about your experience and regret that our solution to our problem was not satisfactory. We spent a full week at the Presidential Apartment. Of my visits to London, I have never experienced such a large place to stay (Since Europe is typically small-sized). It was fully equipped with silverware, furniture, cooking supplies, and bathroom supplies. It was nice to even find fresh fruit! It is conveniently located 3-minutes walking from Earls Court tube station,...

Travelers looking for an upscale, full-service hotel should check somewhere else, but those who enjoy clean, well-cared for accommodations in a safe and interesting location should seriously consider the Kensington Presidential Apartments. Although we barely used the kitchenette, the kitchen section was very well supplied, and even provided a generous bowl of fresh fruit and a basket of cookies, hot...

An excellent hotel. We stayed in the presidential suite. The rooms are large, modern and very clean. There is also a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, which is very convinient. Both rooms have a big flat screen TV. The sofa in the leaving room opens up to a large and confortable bed, our choosy teenager was very happy with. The...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
