My very first stay on Wednesday 27th July but I will be back ....The hotel is to say the least ....different , do not expect a big lobby or immensity in your room , this isn't what the Rough Luxe is about, however if you like a friendly and efficient welcome , a very clean and well appointed room &...

This quirky creative hotel is a real gem. Firstly its perfectly located if you travel into London via Kings Cross, Euston or St Pancreas and given its location our room was surprisingly quiet too . Secondly if you aren’t a fan of corporate beige and characterless non-places this is the perfect antidote ….covered in genuine artwork with plenty of extra...

Quirky style and certainly not what you would get in one of the big chain hotels. But what a fabulous location, right next to Kings Cross/St. Pancras and fantastic value. If you get a double room, you won't believe the price. Great breakfasts and helpful management. Also if you get a room at the back, it is amazingly quiet for...

Spent one night with my wife in this cozy, stylish small hotel, very conveniently located. This place has character, starting form the small lobby decorated with art pieces, the narrow wooden stairs and characteristic rooms. We could book only the smallest room, and bed was a little narrow for two, but there are other wider suites available. The experience was...

Lovely place exactly as expected from write up. Excellent service from friendly, caring staff, ideal location, clean, quirky and definitely worth a visit. Yes, rooms are on the small side (as you are made well aware from description) but what can you expect from a house built in the16th century? Loved every minute and will be going back.

3 stays at Rough Luxe over a year, and while the concept still flies, the place is getting weary. If any of these things were one offs, you might not notice, but when 3 visits accumulate failed bulbs, no glasses, an a previous guest's damp towel in the bathroom, you begin to wonder. & then a reservation at a nicely...

Nice place. Small but cosy. Quirky decor. Great location, 2 mins from Kings Cross. Don't book if you're a snob. Very different. Can't really ask for more from a small and well priced B&B in this location.

I loved my stay at the Rough Luxe! Everyone was very friendly, and helpful. The location near the train station is fantastic, and the design of the hotel is brilliant. Yes, it has small rooms, but it's a renovated historic house! Would definitely stay there again.

We loved the style of the hotel, the concept really works. Beautiful modern bathroom and very comfortable beds. We were made to feel very welcome at every point of our stay, we received a complimentary room upgrade when we arrived and every request we had was met. We were only booked in for one night but had there been availability...
