I have found this a difficult review to write, what you see is not necessarily what you get. The hotel is in a brilliant location. Walk to HP/London Eye and easyl public transport. It's large and clearly caters well for the business traveller. (lots of conference facilities) The images of the rooms shared on all websites fail to mention that...

Close to Westminister and lots of tourist attractions so good for business or pleasure. Excellent facilities and customer services always on point! Pool and spa are an added bonus in central London which helps make a stay here extra relaxing even when on business. Room service food quick and high standard!

We had booked a superior double room which would have been fine but it had an internal facing wall. Not ideal. The chap on Reception sensed that this wasn't a great option and without hesitating, immediately gave us a complimentary upgrade to what type of room, I don't know but it was really lovely (a large double) with a view...

Modern comfortable hotel just across the bridge from the Houses of Parliament. Beds are large and comfy, rooms big for London (even the basic ones) and the pool and fitness centre are great. Tea and coffee in the rooms too. Have been a few times and will definitely return!

Practical and anonymous atmosphere. A great location to be with children. You can move easily everywhere with public transportation. Also from the aeroporto you can easily get there. I being three times with my daughter and we could walk to many places. Breakfast is busy but well organizer.

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
