Had one night in this hotel and was very pleased with it. Staff very welcoming at reception and we were updated to a Club class room too. Member of staff brought us up a complimentary bowl of fruit and bottle of water, nice touch. Marble Arch underground just five minutes walk. Superb breakfast at sister hotel, few minutes walk so... This is a bit tricky to review. We wanted to be close to Oxford Street and Hyde Park which it is, but we booked it through Booking.com so I selected this hotel when I saw how close it was and had the time to have a look at the rooms etc. We wanted something quite special but also fitting in... The positive : is that it is clean and neat, and the bathroom ( albeit tiny) is clean and moderns and shower is good. If you are here to shop, it is super central to oxford to street. The front desk staff were sweet and helpful, and accommodated us with an early check in and baggage. That's where it ends..... More

I booked this through an alternative hotel booking site and what it didn't tell me is there are no lifts and no dining facilities on site. Firstly, I was met by a rather surly receptionist with no smile nor warm welcome. I was then informed that the breakfast was going to be serviced in their sister hotel, 10 doors down.... More

We had paid the two nights in advance and I was welcomed by a "sorry we have no room for you due to overbooking". Thanks to friendly reception staff I could talk directly to the reservation service whom I had a very unpleasant conversation with... Then they displaced somebody else and gave me a less than average room - no... More

After 35 years in the teaching profession we decided to spend the first day of the new term in London. I booked the hotel suite through Bookin.com. It is in ideal location being near Marbel Arch tube station on the Central line. The suite is an annex to the main hotel where you go for breakfast. However the staff were... More

Have used this chain many times in London and have never disappointed. Good clean rooms with attentive staff and excellent breakfast.Could not really fault the over all experience and once again this chain provided excellent value for money One minor point was bathroom a tad small.

Potential guests need to be sure they ready and understand the arrangements for this hotel because they are not standard by any means. You will see images of dining room and they do offer breakfast as part of the deal BUT… these are not served in the same building. Was that a problem? Not for us. This hotel is partnered... More

We chose this hotel for an overnight stay when we needed somewhere close to Hyde Park at the right price (always important). The room we had was a deluxe double, it looked like it had been newly refurbished, it was a very good size and had one of the comfiest, largest beds we've ever had in a hotel. You have... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
