Had 5+ stays in this hotel now and it's quietly becoming my preferred City hotel. Perfectly located for the City businesses, while also close to City Airport DLR connection, Metro, restaurant, Tower Bridge, Thames river and other nice sites if you have some some time...More

Dear Ms. laurenkelsey21,
Thank you for your lovely review, we are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay and our facilities, we are looking forward to see you again in the future.
I stayed here mid week as I was visiting customers in the City. Great location 2 minutes from Aldgate tube on a direct line from King Cross.
Comfortable, spacious room & very good bathroom with good shower. Service is always good here, friendly & efficient.
Nice and clean. Good rooms. A bit off the beaten track but easy to get to and if you need to be in the City, ideal. Had breakfast once as well, enjoyed it. Fully recommended. Like to go to Thai Square next door. Happy!
We stayed at this hotel recently and it was a nice hotel to stay in and good area. The downside is that a few days before our stay they charged me £110 as a preauthorisation fee. As I booked through booking.com this was not explained....More

Thank you for your review, we are pleased that you were happy with hotels location and hotel itself, however we regret to hear that pre-authorisation procedure was not clarified at the time of the check-in. Pre-authorisation is just a standard security procedure operated...More
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's
glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
