A group of four of us wanted to be local to the Tower of London and Fenchurch Street. the location was excellent ,minutes walk from both. Rooms, whilst not spacious were adequate and styled in a Boutique way. Free drinks and snacks in the mini bar plus the usual tea /coffee. Bathroom well appointed with spacious walk in shower. Everything...

Twice asked at front desk about Laundry in fire escapes. Duty manager on my first night there said she would get stuff shifted, hotel Manager (also their HSE manager) at checkout said it was not a problem, and he had checked it was OK with fire brigade and HSE... Personally I don't believe him. I don't think combustible materials should...

The Hotel Indigo is one of the nicer hotels that I have stayed in recently with really comfortable rooms, spacious bathroom/wet room, and a free mini bar that includes chocolate. The staff are very friendly and you can drop off your luggage early in the morning if required. I needed to print off a document and although there's no business...

We stayed for two nights. This is a lovely boutique hotel. Very clean and quirky and with an affordable price. We loved our room. It was spacious and had an amazing bathroom with a walk-in-shower. The complimentary mini bar was a great surprise. The staff were very helpful on a few occasions with a few a few things we needed...

The hotel is clean and well equipped. It does everything that you would want it to - good air con/heating and modern finishing with a large shower and good water pressure. Pros: Free replenished mini bar (non-alcoholic) Clean soft towels Hard wood floors (better to keep clean/more hygienic) vs carpet in my opinion Aveda toiletries, slippers and dressing gown provided...

Free newspaper in the morning and also free bottles of water in room.....Nice touch compared to most. Room was a decent size and very clean. My husband and I stayed at Hotel Indigo a few weeks ago. We picked it because it was convenient to his office and near lots of site seeing places for me. As reported, it was clean but it was lacking in so many areas. There was a tiny lobby with a front desk, two small chairs and some bad plants....

It is hard for hotels to make a difference. I stayed in a junior suite which was excellent in every way. Complementary mini-bar, and all the amenities needed. Wifi is good, but breakfast was not included. In summary, a good business hotel, conveniently located.

It's small hotel with quite modern style. The hotel has good location. It's just few minutes walk from Aldgate and Tower Hill tube stations. Fenchurch Street railway and Tower Gateway DLR-stations are also very near. That's why Indigo is good hotel to stay if you are going to ExCel expo arena. There is also restaurant in the hotel and at...

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
