I stayed here with my husband for 3 nights and did not want to leave. This hotel is perfection. Absolutely everything is of the highest standard, the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in, the food was sublime and the bar area was fun for a late night cap. Would love to return.

Stayed for 2 nights as a birthday treat in September. The reception staff are delightful and friendly. The room was well appointed with everything you could want supplied. A very comfortable bed and lovely details like drawers that close slowly and silently when you push them shut. The bar is renowned and it's not hard to see why - the...

We decided to treat ourselves to a 5 star hotel during our London visit. After much research we picked the Langham and booked a club level room. And we are so glad we did. Our stay was absolutely outstanding! We were delighted with an upgrade to a Grand Langham room upon our arrival. It was spacious with every amenity (including...

Despite being down on rooms due to refurbishment the Langham and their staff always go out of their way to make each visit easy. This is a big slap of luxury within easy reach of the retail sector. Although there for business the hotel has an ability to adjust to its guests exacting needs whether it's business or pleasure. Exemplary...

We only came to the Palm Court because three other well known afternoon tea establishments were booked up . I now ask myself why didn't we choose The Langham first ?? The sound of the Palm Court's fine pianist welcomed us to our table. A choice of teas were offered and then came the food. .... Salmon , lobster ,...

Stayed again at the Langham on a two night trip to London, checked in late in the evening and was helped out by the concierge in getting a last minute booking at The Ivy. Rooms are well appointed, with a large very comfortable double bed, the bathroom is also large with a separate shower and bath and a toilet with...

we stayed at the Langham for one night. on arrival at 2pm sadly our room wasn't available, apparently 3pm is the going room available time. So we left our bags and headed around the corner for a drink at the Sanderson hotel to await the phone call letting us know the room would be available. we had supplied both mobile...

Excellent location, service and rooms. I have been in this hotel with my family three time and would strongly recommend it to anyone staying in London. Excellent location, just a couple of minutes walk from Oxford Circus but off the noisy crowded centre. The rooms are fabulous: big, comfortable.....no buts whatsoever. The staff is extremely nice and helpful.

Enjoyable stay at the Langham, London. Nothing out of the ordinary but for London standards certainly one of the better hotels. We choose to stay at the Langham due to location in the heart of London and proximity to the underground (although we Ubered most of our trips :) ) Oxford Road, Soho, Covent Garden etc. The service at the...

A stylish hotel with attentive and responsive service in a superbly convenient location for business or leisure . It is slightly quirky and labyrinthine, mainly due to the layout of the Victorian building. The rooms are not particularly large , but no smaller than most in London and the bathrooms are lovely. The bar is very buzzy and seems to...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
