This was our second stay at the Langham, a beautiful iconic hotel, in a superb location in the heart of the West End which is both central and quiet. We stayed in a 'grand king' room which had everything you would expect, but despite the name it was a fairly small room but it was tastefully done, and it was...

Located just off Oxford Street, next to the BBC, this hotel is great for a short city break in the UK's capital. The rooms are beautiful and well kept. The service is great and the lobby/communal areas are stunning. Upon entry to the hotel you are hit by the beautiful aroma of roses and the stunning entranceway. We were lucky...

We stayed here for two nights as we were visiting London for a wedding and it happened to co-incide with a BIG 0 birthday for my husband! The room was lovely, spacious and quiet, very clean and everything you would need from a hotel room - it was luxurious to say the least - no complaints at all! The staff...

I stayed at the Langham in London in November of 2014. I must say that it was a very special treat. The hotel is everything that you would expect from a classic London luxury property. From the second you step out of your car to check in you are immediately met with very attentive and professional bellman to help you...

I stayed for only one night in October, and although expecting a room of traditional furnishing, I felt the room was lacking any sense of luxury or atmosphere. The sofa and chairs, whilst same as those pictured in the website photo of the room, in reality are similar to those I would expect to see in a doctor's waiting room....

Dear TravelConstantTravel Thank you so very much for taking your valuable time to provide this feedback following your stay at The Langham London in October 2014, we are sorry that ultimately you did not find that the accommodation meet with your expectations and for this we wish to offer our sincere apologies. This is my second stay at this hotel. Great service, excellent breakfast at the restaurant ( not the buffet). Rooms are very comfortable but not 5 stars ( at least the classic room which I booked was not one). I rate the Langham higher than the Savoy's standard room, higher than 1 Aldwych and Claridge's, and much higher than the...

The hotel is one of icons, though rooms are rather small, very traditionally equipped etc. Pity that such a great hotel cannot do better in that respect. Still, it is a good place, great service and very helpful staff from bellman to last maid. People is what makes this hotel a good place to stay.

I brought my wife to London as she wanted to experience "fine dining" and so I chose Roux at The Landau and a night at The Langham. The hotel was fantastic, all that you would expect from a Grand hotel and we were made to feel very special. The meal at the Landau was also exceptional and although I am...

I stayed at the Langham hotel just before Christmas. As soon as the taxi pulled up outside the grand building, my every need was catered for whether it was carrying my luggage, booking restaurants or directing me to local attractions. The rooms were large, spacious and grand. The location of the hotel is perfect for people wanting to take advantage...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
