St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.

We had the opportunity to spend a week end in London, and to stay in this hotel. The location is really practical, near green park and very next to the fabulous Buckingham palace. The lobby of the hotel is very welcoming and the staff was great! The bedroom that we had was at

Recently spent a couple of nights with my wife at The Stafford in London - a special Christmas treat. Booking process was simple and confirmed with an email that also checked what type of pillows we wanted and asked if it was a special occasion. Nice touch. Check in went ok

This is a top-rated, top-priced hotel, therefore there should be NO failings. So how about a doorman who never greets his guests, reads his cellphone while excuding boredom while he opens the door, or talks thru his guest's ears to a compatriot across the hall? --- NOT an

There was constructions nearby but we didn't hear it at all. In fact it was one of the quietest hotels I've stayed in.

Hello, I will be traveling alone. Is the area safe at night?
I would agree that the area is safe. It is in the middle of the city with lots of people around on the streets during the day. In the evening it is still a busy area -- restaurants and shops nearby with people and traffic walking about. Like any big city it is best to keep your head up and be aware of your surroundings. This a wonderful hotel and I'm certain the staff would be happy to help you find your way around safely.
