We stayed for four nights. The hotel is in an excellent location. The rooms are small but well-designed so that there is space enough to put clothes and so on away. Everything is spotlessly clean. The family and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
We have just had our 8th visit to the Ridgemount over the past 20 years. When in London we would think of nowhere else to stay. The cleanest, friendliest and welcoming hotel. The staff are great and are always willing to help. Breakfast is good and...More
We stayed for 4 nights recently as we were attending a conference nearby. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable and conveniently located for walking to sites and for public transport. Breakfast is good and substantial and the owners and staff very helpful and welcoming.
Only stayed for one night but experienced incredibly friendly staff throughout my time. Perfect if you are going to a concert at ULU Student Central. Will definitely use again next time I have a concert at the venue again.

London isn’t a car friendly city so if possible I would advise against driving into London as it is very expensive to park. Also there is a daily congestion charge (Monday-Friday) of £11.50 per day for driving in central London. . However if you need to drive you can park outside our hotel after 6:30pm until 8:30am. And all day on Sunday. Our nearest car parks are:

The royal national car park is closer and cheaper.

I don't live in London so I am no expert but here goes. From LGW use "Gatwick Express" into Victoria Station(30 mins)Then "Tube" to Warren Street and then 10min walk to hotel. Look at "Google" for Gatwick Express and London Underground. Hope this helps a little. We found the hotel extremely helpful in answering all sorts of questions. Whatever happens enjoy your trip to the UK.
