This was our second visit to Claridge's for Afternoon Tea and I have to say it was even better than the last time. Our waiter acknowledged my husband by name when he saw that we had sat down (such attention to detail) and continued to provide an excellent standard of customer service throughout our visit. He took an interest in...

The staff at this hotel MUST be the best in London..... if not the world. I usually stay at the Connaught, but feeling like a change stayed for the first time at Claridges. From arriving in the muddiest car in London, to leaving laden down with bags, the staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. We were upgraded to a Deluxe...

Visited for an event hosted by the Fujian Tea Association, held in the French Salon. Very well laid out, good facilities, excellent staff and wonderful afternoon tea selection of sandwiches, cakes and Chinese delicacies. Long trek to the bathrooms, was surprised that there are not more for non-residents.

Myself and a friend had the pleasure of enjoying a drink at Claridge's. The service and atmosphere was absolutely amazing. I did not have the pleasure of staying at Claridge's, but if the service of the hotel is as good as the service in the lounge I definitely will be booking the next time I'm in London. Thanks for the...

Claridges is quite honestly amazing, the staff can't do enough for you. The rooms are well-appointed and classically styled, the hotel is very luxurious and you feel very welcomed and looked-after during your stay. There was a birthday cake in the room which was a lovely touch, and the receptionist who showed us to our room sent complimentary champagne to...

We stayed for two nights and from the moment you step into Claridges you are treated with warmth, care and friendliness! Nothing is too much trouble for any of the wonderful staff that work there. They go to the ends of the earth to help you. Our first night was unfortunately marred by the noise of an extractor fan from...

Make no mistake, this is one of the most iconic London hotels. The whole atmosphere of the place is amazing, we arrived around 1pm and had afternoon tea before we checked into our room (I'll come to that in a moment!) The service was simply unsurpassable, nothing was too much trouble for anybody and everyone was so friendly and welcoming....

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
