In the middle of Knightbridge (the ultimate location) The Capital Hotel gives you the personal attention and service all travellers loves. Their friendly attitude, nice rooms at "competitive" prices, restaurant Outlaw and the bar, made again our stay unforgetable. No doubt, we will soon be back :)

We had two memorable nights at the Capital. It was a great location, the staff were exemplary. The room was comfortable and very clean, the cooked breakfast excellent and breakfast buffet was more than adequate.

The Capital Hotel is a continuing beacon of excellence. The entire staff are professional, welcoming and readily smiling. The location is unbeatable and The Capital provides in the rooms and public areas an aura of warm caring. Many of London's established leading hotels have, in my opinion, been refurbished into soulless ' sleeping sheds' lacking any personality or individuality. The Capital...

We are fans of smaller, but great quality hotels. The Capital is one of those. Quality, as defined by oursekves, is the sum of able people and what they accomplish by managing a hotel. At Capital, they do just that. Fine rooms, a nice bar and a very good restaurant do not yet support the above thesis - it's the...

The location was excellent. The tube and shopping are just a short walk away. The staff were very helpful and considerate. The rooms were wonderful. We cannot wait to return and try more meals from the restaurant.

After such a memorable stay a couple of years ago, I was slightly apprehensive as to whether my expectations would be met this time around: not only were they met, but they were exceeded! I really appreciated the extra space in the Junior Suite, in particular the luggage storage space in the guest cloakroom. I made extensive use of the...

Me and my mother went to London after 40 years when we lived in Putney from 1975 till 1979. I chose the Capital for its location and reviews on the internet. Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighbourhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
