The Halkin is on a very quiet street that is nonetheless central to just about anything a visitor might want to do in London. The hotel and restaurant staff are just about telepathic in their service. The rooms are modern and extremely well-kept. My wife and I had some odd requests and were accommodated immediately. I can honestly say I've...

We had afternoon tea on a Red Letter deal courtesy of our daughter. A very swish hotel close to Buckingham Palace. Staff were excellent and the food - a selection of dishes tapas style equally good. Washed down with a glass of cava and ...of course tea. A pleasant experience. We had 2 extra glasses of cava at a cost...

Ive stayed at Como hotels before and they are consistently of excellent quality. Its actually my favourite hotel company to stay with. The Halken is no exception to the 5 star experience I have had with all of their hotels I have stayed at. Exceptional attention to detail and they really make you feel welcome. True 5 star service. The most notable thing about our stay at The Halkin was the impeccable service - warm, welcoming and efficient. Our room was a recently renovated junior suite. It was spacious and well appointed. Bathroom was also large and included separate shower and soaking tub. The location, south of Hyde Park, is very quite and a couple of blocks from shopping,...

We found The Halkin, Como, on Tablet. Having never been to London, we asked some British friends if the location was good. They affirmed. The staff is very international, as is (was?) all of London. They are attentive, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Their recommendations for restaurants, things to see, etc were excellent. The beds are very comfortable, the room is...

Felt at home and cared for as soon we arrived at the hotel. We really appreciated the time and effort the wonderful General Manager took to look after us. We had a comfortable stay in a Garden Room and slept well. Breakfast room overlooks quiet garden area. Will definitely look forward to staying again.

We had a great stay at The Halkin, with polite staff and incredible upgrade!! Loved it. Our room was specious and we love the Como Shambala amenities. It was my birthday, and when we arrived in our bedroom, the manager Andrew had provided a bday cake! What a pleasant surprise!

After a year and more since my last visit, I checked in the Halkin last night again. The Halkin is a boutique hotel, very centrally located (close to Hyde Park Corner) however on a quiet street (Halkin Street). The rooms are very pleasantly decorated, the beds very comfortable and the linen of very good quality. The multi-national personnel is very...

Very expensive, £800 per night, service is good but not great. The Spanish restaurant is totally outstanding, but the hotel experience less so. The bar is very basic and the hotel suite lacked style. At times the hotel was cold and the room was serviced at the wrong times.

Neighbourhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
