Stayed 2 nights in this hotel. Crowded area, a lot of construction and road work in progress around this hotel. Hotel's premises were clean and rather spacious. Staff was polite, friendly and efficient. Special thanks to Francesco, bartender, and his colleagues. Cons. Low sleep quality. Bed frames and mattresses are of bad quality. Water sink in the bathroom is of...

The hotel is quite nice. Google Maps will show you that the location is excellent - close to Soho, close to the Theaters, and right around the corner from a Tube station (and Starbucks). The area is safe, with lots of tourists and altogether easy to get around. The food in the hotel is mediocre, but there are plenty of...

I came here on the 5th July for a one night stay for my Partners birthday, check in was very smooth and the lady on the desk very welcoming and helpful. Our room was on the second floor and whilst no real view to mention it was very quiet and spacious, it appeared as if this was a disabled room...

We stayed for one night celebrating a belated birthday. The freshly sliced fruit platter we found on arrival was perfect after travelling into london on a hot summers day, thank you so much ! The birthday card was also a very nice touch. The foyer is fantastic with its modern art, we especially loved the red deer on the sofa!!...

No room to swing a cat in our room. Hardly room to get past the toilet to close the door. I'm only 5ft 5 and size 10. If you are a larger individual you will struggle. No real coffee at breakfast as the machine was broken. Our bar fridge was broken. Remote control battery dead. At £250 p night....not happy....

A very good hotel, right in the thick of it all. I normally stay in another hotel very close to this hotel and was slightly worried about staying here, but I should not have worried at all as it surpassed all of my expectations, very good hetel.

Really attentive staff, rang me once in room to ask if everything was ok. Room smelt damp/aircon issue. House keeping came immediately, offered to change rooms but it was a great room so stayed. Good size room, bed etc. gave me voucher for reduced price breakfast. Really very good especially for Central London.

Very convenient for theatres and easy access to main attractions - just round the corner from the British Museum. Service and general areas excellent. We stayed in a deluxe room, however for the price paid I was expecting a larger room. but it was clean and comfortable. Would recommend.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
