We stayed for 7 nights at this lovely hotel centrally located on Old Park Lane. The room was white, bright and cheery with a Nespresso machine and tea kettle provided. The lighting was worthy of notice since so many hotels are too dark. With the latest technology, it was possible for you to light up different parts of the room,...

For a modern, zen-like experience, the Metropolitan hotel is hard to beat. The rooms are relatively small, but very modern with all the amenities needed. White minimalist style with a mixture of wooden trim. Everything in the room is controlled electronically, with the phone in addition to wall fixtures able to everything including lighting, blinds, weather etc. Variety of electronic...

Como is a the antithesis of many London luxury hotels -- light, modern and above all understated. The rooms are bordering on stark, but they are well lit and have an almost Scando upper class feel to them. Mine had a forgettable internal court view but the window was large and lent it an open, airy feel. A cool bar,...

Thank you COMO Metropolitan London for a great stay. I had been recommended this hotel by a colleague (I usually stay at the Sanderson) but have been very impressed with the services and will now make this my hotel of choice when in London. I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a park room of which the view of...

Not the one when you hear a noise, and it turns out to be your gf's earring, but the one where you find out that Bluemotion technology means the catalyst doesn't meet legal standards or what you thought you bought. Imposing entrance foyer, magnificent bedrooms, service almost OTT, but the climate control needs some investment. Aircon was noisy, difficult to...

If your main criteria when choosing a hotel are location comfort bar and breakfast, welcome to the Metropolitan! The spacious rooms have been entirely refurbished and provide lights and remote control of all features, the bar offers a wonderful range of premium spirits, and a-la-carte breakfast serves delicious eggs Benedict. Add to this the perfect attention of a highly kind...

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The staff who greet you and check you in are great. The two bedroom apartment was great for our family. We have two children under 10. Location is great. Always easy to catch a cab to move about the city. And they have the ability to provide a car for the day....

I felt thoroughly spoiled by the wonderful staff at the Como Metropolitan. Check-in was seamless and valet parking was a breeze. Our modern Metropolitan Park room was bright, with a wall of windows overlooking Hyde Park and the buzz of Park Lane. The room had a great mini-bar with the usual suspects and a variety of unusual additions including a...

Booked the COMO Metropolitan for 3 nights while on a family vacation. In the time leading up to our stay we reached out their Concierge's Jimmy & Natalie on several occasions. We wanted tickets to a Football match...no problem. We wanted reservations for Tea and Dinner at specific restaurants...no problem. They were communicative and gracious. As a family of 5...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
