We have stayed here a number of times and keep returning because this boutique hotel is charming (fresh, modern yet inviting interior - not overstuffed or too intricate), well located (in lovely South Kensington and close to a tube stop), well run (thoughtful, friendly, efficient...More
I knew the Firmdale boutique hotel and I went to Number Sixteen for an afternoon tea. There is a relaxing atmosphere and interiors as well as the garden are extremely elegant. I'm passionate about design and Kim Kemp' style is highly sophisticated with and attentive...More

Delightful boutique hotel in the ritzy South Kensington area of London. Two blocks from the tube station. Great service from attentive staff. Free WIFI. Positively charming parlors & garden so you're not stuck in a hotel room.

And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming

The hotel is on a quietist side street. There is street parking but I did not see many available spaces. You can probably double park near the door and someone from the hotel would be able to come out and help. Remember that this is Kensington; the traffic wardens are extremely watchful and are fond of booting improperly parked cars.
