our family loved staying at the pavilion!- we had 2 sumptuously decorated rooms - with a Victorian theme. For us, the stay was one of the high lights of our European holiday. We walked to Hyde Park in the morning just a few blocks away and were inspired by the amazing design of the rooms. FULL of character and much...

We stayed here last night. We had read that the hotel was "quirky". We stayed in the Better Red than Dead room which was on the 4th floor. The stairs were dangerous and badly lit. Although the room itself was OK, the bed was the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in and the pillows felt as though they were stuffed...

Fabulous staff, quirky rooms. Lousy breakfast, no hairdryer. Awkwardly placed power sockets. However, what this hotel lacks in facilities it MORE than makes up for in character. We prefer it to some of the high end hotels around Hyde Park. We will definitely return as we Love it, warts and all.

The price for the location is really good. The building is authentic and nice, the rooms have a bit of an eccentric design but it's nice. However, my room was so small that I had to sleep with the window open to be able to breathe. The problem is that there is no air-conditioning but the street is really noisy...

I remember when i booked i couldnt understand why such a cool quirky looking hotel had such cheap prices! But you literally get what you pay for. Positives..... it looks quirky and different. each room has a different theme. On arrival you walk into a little corridor... A man said hi to me but I wasn't sure if he worked...

Decor is great - Service is lacking : Breakfast dumped in a plastic box outside the door with a warm carton of UHT Milk for the cereal. Bathroom tiny Shower broken Positives - A quiet room, which was warm. Have stayed in worse - But does not live up to its publicity.

The rooms are gloriously colourful. I applaud that. However a remarkable idea put into action woefully. The man who owns this hotel is a multi-millionaire from what I gather from the hotel's website. It shows him with his Lamborghini. Yet when I stayed here there was only ever one member of staff who was cool in his manner. He was...

I will start with a positive....nope, can't think of one! We booked this through Booking.com for one night bed & breakfast for £78. Location is good, price was reasonable (oh there are two positives) but that's it. On arrival you enter a seedy entrance hall and welcomed (sort of) and taken to reception. The first room we were shown was...

If i would judge an hotel by its looks, this one would get 5 stars, The rooms are all different with a unique decor. But let's see why I think the hotel is poor:~ - 100£ a night for a very small room - No elevator - To turn the hot water I had to call reception because there's a...

I booked a last minute deal as a stopover for a friend's birthday celebrations. I had read the reviews beforehand but thought I would give the place a go myself. The hotel decor is rather interesting, gives you plenty to look at. There was a good welcome at reception and I was escorted to my room and shown where things...

“The Metallica Room, in the basement had no hot water. Although the room was heated, the tile floor, in December, is very cold for bare feet. The private WC outside the room is unheated and very cold. But besides that, it was fine. Bed is pretty squeaky but very comfortable.”
