Hotels in London are not cheap. We found the Garden Court at a reasonable cost in terms of location. Our room was peaceful situated next to a bright courtyard. The service was fine. Next time I go to London I would like to stay there again. There are several good restaurants in the neighborhood

I stayed here two nights. I stayed in a single room with ensuite bathroom. My room was a shoebox. Hardly enough room to roll my luggage in, I had to store my suitcase directly behind the door as it was its widest point. The bed was average, the mattress was quite thin. No tea or coffee making facilities in room,...

The location is superb, the quadruple/family room is large and really comfortable to stay with. I also booked a triple room which is relatively small in everything compared to the family room. there is hardly space to move in the bathroom. location-wise, it is easy to find places to eat nearby. 5 minutes or less walk to Bayswater and Queensway...

In the room was a very nice welcome letter and a box of chocolates The room was very clean and bed was so comfortable. No tea and coffee facilities in the room...

We stayed here in the triple room for one night to see in the New Year and found the location was a perfect distance to Queensway tube station for our trips out. The staff were always friendly and helpful, topped off by the bottle of wine and chocolates left in our hotel room after coming home from the celebrations which...

I stayed recently with my Daughter and Grandaughter in the 3 bed room .It was a very clean room , carpets could however have done with cleaning in a few places . The outside of the hotel was very well maintained .The staff were exceptionaly polite and very friendly and made us feel really welcome and nothing was too much...

Stayed in the four bed family room (4 adults) room was big enough, although shower was very small. Room was clean - recently refurbished I think as carpet looked quite new. Breakfast was adequate - cereals, fruit, yoghurts, toast, tea/coffee, orange/apple juice. Situation of hotel is good. no more than 5 mins walk from Bayswater tube and lots of bars...

Clean, friendly, helpful. Got this for a good price and it was fine. Stayed for 5 days on business and apart from slightly small rooms and tiny ensuite it was fine. Free Wi-Fi too. Has a lift so no need to try and man-handle bags up stair cases.

Myself and 2 friends have just spent a night in this hotel. We chose this as one of my friends is disabled and we needed a hotel near to a function we were attending. This is a very well located, cheap hotel in London, which is a rare thing to find. Subway is very close by and there are convenience stores, restaurants and bars all around you. Westbourne Groves is one of the loveliest streets in London. The hotel itself is ok, you get what you pay for. No air con, which was a...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
