Upon arriving at the hotel after our long haul flight from Australia, and a very long drive from the airport, we were greeted by a very terse receptionist. When my husband asked if there was anywhere we could eat, he was told, "out the front and turn left". This was not the welcome we expected. As I sat in the...

I've stayed here a few times as its a good location when seeing relatives. But nearly always the evening / night staff are uncommunicative, unwelcoming and sometimes a bit rude which isn't what you need after a long day. I've stayed in rooms that were substandard, I was once upgraded to a good standard room, but recently I stayed in...

This is my 3rd stay at this hotel, and I have stayed in both the old and new rooms. The old rooms are dated, but still clean and functional, the refurbished rooms are finished to a good standard, although some are below ground level and therefore does not have a window. On this occasion I was in an old room,...

The location is not the best, it is quite far from the city center but it;s good value for staying a couple of nights in London, where the hotels are expensive. Our room was nice but very tiny and when we arrived it was colder than outside and we visited in November so it was pretty cold, we called reception...

Read some previous reviews and was expecting the worst but I am glad to say I was pleasantly surprised. We had a room for four, for two nights as a base for a visit to London. It was basic but comfortable and secure. We washed and slept in it and that's all. We didn't eat any meals there as there...

I stayed hear with my 3.5month old, mother and sister. When we arrived the security team were lovely and helped us to park and carried my pram up the stairs. The gentleman on reception upgraded our room at no extra cost. We requested 6 extra pillows and they arrived Promptly with a smile on the porters face. The room was...

Out of 3 nights in the hotel 2 mornings and the whole night the room was out of water. Some rooms didn't provide the elecricity either. it took a lot of time to fix the problem and the next morning it happened again. The personnel don't speak proper English. To compensate the inconvinience we were offered one breakfast which was...

Location was convenient for my needs - staying one night in Crystal Palace after meeting up with friends and ex-colleagues. Booked online in advance, checking in and out was straight forward. The room was extremely basic, I was given a larger room that had two bunk beds and two single beds akin to a small dormitory for workmen. The room...
