I am a realist and understand what your pound gets you in London, but this was the smallest double hotel room I have ever stayed in. I was about 8 ft x 6 ft, with one side of the bed pushed up against a wall and window. We had two small cabin-bag sized suitcases and there was nowhere to put...

Unusual too. My room had ants, Tv didn't work, shaver socket was faulty, room 205. Has a spa and a gentleman's bar called Charlie's which makes no sense at all, the gentleman's bar offers you the chance to buy a bottle of champaign for £165 and pay £55 to a lady for sitting and having a chat, or doing karaoke...

Perfect location in walking distance to interesting Bayswater and tube/Paddington, but there are many better hotel options in the same room. We stayed in the smallest room I have ever experienced anywhere. Not even room to store an unfolded carry-on suitcase. We paid extra to have breakfast included in the price, just to learn that you had to pay another...

She was very serious and asked for the money straight away and in a impolite way! breakfast poor! room quite small walls dirty, the heating was difficult to regulate. location good because there are several stations and the bus which is 24h. but n...

I stayed overnight for 1 night when I had to be in London for work. I think I paid £51 - for a central London hotel in the 'budget' range, I thought this was a really good hotel. Friendly staff, very clean room, comfortable bed (it was a 3/4 size rather than a single bed). The reception area and corridors...

We had a confirmed reservation through Booking .com but when we arrived in the Hotel ,the gentleman in the reception told us that they did not have available the room we had booked so we had to accept two single rooms in a separate floor. They also told us the following day they would transfer us to a suit. The...

Over 30+ plus years of visiting London I have stayed in hotels of all sorts other than those at the very top of the market. If I have learned one thing it is that the more you pay the more you will be disappointed. In the case of the Holiday Villa, we didn't pay very much (via booking.com) and we...

Lovely hotel, friendly helpful staff, clean comfortable room, nice breakfast in a spacious dining room, restaurant on site, quiet, good sleep quality bed, spacious, spotlessly clean bathroom with loads of hot water and a fantastic value for money hotel close to paddington, just 6 minute walk to hyde park, 3 tube stations all nearby, couldn't fault it, left luggage no problem...
