We almost always stay at the Hampshire, in Leicester Square because it's right in the centre of all the life in Soho and Theatre land. There are cheaper places to stay close by, but if you want to be spoiled and feel special then this is the place to stay. It's a classic hotel with quality features and caring staff.

Perfect location, near places of interest. Spacious rooms. Wifi. Very friendly staff. We were not informed about the refurbishment work when we booked the hotel. We complained to the staff and offered us a discount on the total price. We are satisfied with this solution.

Once we arrived we learnt we had been upgraded to a junior suite, the room was huge, way bigger than I expected it to be, it was overlooking Leicster Square, have to say...

Lovely hotel, stayed with my daughter. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. There is renovation work going on but it did not affect us at all apart from when we were entering or leaving the hotel. The restaurant wasn't available for breakfast but because of the renovations we were offered a continental breakfast in the penthouse suite, this was very...

Since the check in with Linda, the staff was amazing. Concierge people, mainly Pedro, and also other reception people like Felipe were helpful. Maria, the chief of housekeeping staff was 10. I loved my stay there.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
