I booked this hotel for a business guest of mine arriving the following day for 4 nights for a single room in this 3* hotel in London which cost a staggering £860 for a single bed room due to the lack of hotel rooms at the time in London. To cut a long story short the guest was not given...

Appalling service all round. Arrived last night only to be told they had problems with the room. Refused to give a refund but offered to put us up in a cheaper hotel which they would pay and then they would claim our costs back from Expedia. Can't help but think they are up to something. Left out on the street...

We arrived after a 4 hour journey to be told that our room had a leaking pipe! They would send a cab to take us to another hotel next door!! This cost £86 a night not the £189 we had paid!! They would claim the money back and book us the hotel - making a few quid out of it!!...

I made the mistake of booking before reading the reviews. They are pretty accurate. My room was small and sparsely furnished, 3 light bulbs dead, security lock mechanism on door removed, satellite TV defunct, drawer missing, window blind broken, tap loose on basin, extractor fan not working and due to exceptionally high water pressure, a shower head with a mind...

We booked this hotel for a party of 10 for my grandsons birthday, as my grandson is disabled, having read the reviews on this site after having booked it at a none refundable rate I was mortified and worried myself sick that I had made a big mistake, but as it was none refundable we had no option but to...

I wanted to add my review of this hotel because it important that anyone considering staying here is furnished with some facts; part of my job involves booking flights, hotels and restaurants all over the world on a daily basis, not to mention I travel as often as I can too, so I am at pains to point out that...

I had to stay one night and arrived quite late to check in. Receptionist requested payment even though I pointed out that my company did the booking and I did not have to make any payment at all. He was quite rude and not friendly. He then booked me into a lower ground room which had no windows. The room...

I stayed in this hotel some months ago,and the carpet and floors had holes in them and the socket were hanging off the wall! A grotty pub toilet would have been more appealing and I swore never to return! Unfortunately somebody else booked me into this hotel, on arrival, had argument with receptionist as I didn't have photo I'd for...

So I went to reception to tell them I was refusing to stay there , the receptionist kept referring tome as SHE , after I refused...

I was looking for an hotel close to Covent Garden, but didn't want to pay the extortionate sums being charged, so found this place just a ten-minute walk away. Aside from having relatively friendly reception staff, location was about the only thing the Cheshire Hotel has in it's favour. My expedia confirmation stated that breakfast was £9.99 and Wi-Fi was...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
