Loved our stay here at The Westbury. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our air con needing fixing at it was sorted in a flash by a lovely handyman. Comfy rooms and beautiful decor. Highly recommend

Booked my wife and daughter into the Westbury Mayfair for a 2 night girly stay to celebrate my daughters birthday she was feeling a bit depressed at reaching the ripe old age of 30, informed the hotel of this before they arrived, just so they knew, However to my wife and daughters surprise when they checked in at reception she...

Do you want to stay at this extraordinary, classy, elegant and beautiful grand dame of a hotel? My answer is simple: Oh yes you do! This is not an inexpensive hotel, but it is worth every pound and more for a total immersion in the elegance and service of a time gone by and true class and refinement. Try one...

We were privileged to be attending an event at Buckingham Palace and we entrusted the arrangements to the Westbury Hotel. From start to finish, the quality of service, attention detail and general arrangements were perfection. Room 208 is a corner suite and one of my favourite rooms. My dinner suit was pressed and cleaned for me upon arrival. Champagne and...

My darling husband booked a 2 night stay as a surprise. He knew I had my eye on a Cartier necklace we had both admired while is Singapore two months earlier. As the best London Mayfair shops are only minutes away how could I refuse. Friendly hotel, this is our third visit, and great cocktails. We were given a super...

My partner and I stayed at The Westbury for a couple of nights while visiting London. The location of the hotel was perfect and we were close to everywhere we wanted to visit. Despite the terrible rain one day, the staff were excellent and very quickly offered us umbrellas. The only downside was that the hotel room was rather hot...

As a luxury hotel this is definitely lacking. You have to pay for wifi, £8 for an hour and so on, although the reception tells me you can negotiate this when you book (should you have to in 2017?). She did give me a fee code this time, but next time I would need to pay. When I did eventually...

We continue to visit and stay at The Westbury! It's now become home from home. First of all the staff are faultless and so friendly.. they make us feel like a genuine guest. The breakfasts are first class and The Polo Bar just right for afternoon tea or lunch! The rooms we now book are luxurious and exceedingly comfortable. But...

Decided to have a last minute weekend away in London, and chose this hotel... what a good choice. After a little hiccup when we checked into the room (the room had already been given to someone else, so when we walked in someone else's things were in it?!) Anyways, after a trip to reception they could not apologise enough, and...

Great one night stay on my own. Fast check in, upgraded room as a returning guest. New rooms are great. Service and drinks in the bar were very good. Check out quick and easy. Doormen really friendly. All in all a very successful stay. Mrs Wallace was very jealous of my upgrade so I said I'll return with her and...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
