I treated my friend to a champagne afternoon tea via Virgin Experiences. It cost £39.50 for the two of us and it was delicious. We had sandwiches, scones with jam and clotted cream, cakes and macarons. My friend spilled her champagne and they gave us both a full glass each on the house. It is great valus for money and...

Great afternoon tea, shared with a friend for my birthday. The Romanian gentleman in the blue suit was amazing. Felt as though, he was attending to us the whole time, very personal treatment. I would definitely attend again, and also recommend to friends/familly etc..

Booked as an anniversary weekend break. Check in was lengthy so we decided to leave our luggage and check in later. Although we were going out for dinner & room with breakfast already paid for we still had to leave card details & money deducted & not refunded for a week. Most hotels take card details but do not deduct...

I booked this hotel as I thought it would be a luxury but it turned out to be a bit disappointing. Upon arrival we found we had to put down an extra £50 which we weren't prepared for. We were then told we were upgraded to a better room but upon looking on the website it appears this was not...

This is my second visit to this hotel. Our room was a superior double on the 2nd floor at the front. It is a little noisier at the front but nothing that disturbed our sleep and we slept with the window open. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff as during a previous...

An excellent hotel, right in the middle of Mayfair. Unlike many near here (and we have stayed in more expensive rubbish!), this hotel was clean, definitely NOT in need of refurbishment, the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great, the value (for London) excellent. Our room was super. Difficult to fault really.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
