So, I booked a last minute room for a couple of nights in London. Sure, it looked shabby on the pictures but hey... How bad can it be? Turns out incredibly bad. Not only is everything in deplorable condition, the carpets are sticky so bring slippers or expect to contract all sorts of pestilence from the floors. The mattresses are...

The hotel is in a very very busy area. There are many people of Middle Eastern origin in the area which gives the area an exotic vibrant flavour. The local restaurants serve Middle Eastern food which is delicious. However, the area is really crowded, particularly at night and it is very noisy. The hotel itself is dated and looks really...

Last June me and my family choose to stay at this hotel for our vacation. The hotel located near the main attraction in London (Oxford street, Marble Arch and Hyde Park). Only 5minutes walk from Marble Arch station. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and equipped with wifi and cable tv.

For a 3 star hotel, the place is amazing and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Plus, the hotel is close to Oxford street, Hyde park and many other attractions(probably about a five minute walk to Oxford street and Hyde park) . The room is small but it is kind of cute and cosy.

So many cons to this hotel--No air conditioning, the room was dirty, the carpet made my feet dirty, had a day with no hot water, the bathroom was tiny, phone did not work, internet was weak and intermittent, the breakfast is some cereal or croissants with jam or butter, or you can ask for scrambled eggs--if you are late don't...

Very, very good the place in London. My family was very well accommodated. We were in a location that interested us very near to Oxford Street where we wanted to shop and technological goods store, electronics and appliances Arcos. Part of the staff speaks Portuguese.

If you hate cleanliness, touchable surfaces around the bathroom and the room, if you're not that much into warm water, or decent sized rooms, book now! Perfect for people who love sticky feel on their fingertips and appreciate a good ol' moldy bathtub! Absolutely superb city views available through torn, dusty, and, once upon a time white, curtains! Your foot...

I had two nights here in August 2016. A couple of positives: very well located. Easy to find off the tube if you're new in London. Basic but comfortable. The staff are friendly and the single bed was comfy. The negatives : continental breakfast is ok if you show up first on a quiet morning. It consists of croissants and...

While the deco may be dated in the hotel, the rooms were super clean and the beds were comfortable and fresh clean towels provided each day. The staff at the reception both morning (lady) and night (man) were extremely lovely to us and couldn't have been more helpful with directions and everything else! The hotel is so central to Oxford...

Bedding very clean as were towels. The Hotel however is in serious need of a makeover, very tired! The Staff were friendly but distant. I have given the Hotel 2 stars but only just. If your looking for somewhere to lay your head without the frills this will. I shan't be staying here again

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
