Without doubt the location of this hotel is fantastic and it felt like all the staff we encountered made that extra effort that leaves you feeling valued as a customer. The room, a superior twin, overlooked the building works but the noise levels were minimal and I wouldn't let it put you off - room space tight. The breakfast area...

Great hotel and fabulous service. Our second visit here. Central for shopping, theatres, great restaurants and transport around the city. Rooms are great, cleaned and serviced well. Bar is well stocked and food is good. Staff are amazing and truly helpful. Highly recommended for a medium budget break.

The staff, always really friendly and helpful, rooms are really clean, could be a bit bigger, own car park is just great, as you can forget your car, all combined makes this a great all round stay. Location is perfect for the West End, Fortnum And Mason opposite. Wide choice for breakfast, Good shower. Just a really good hotel

We have been here before and really enjoyed so decided to stay overnight. It's over a year since the last visit. Positives= food excellent, service good except in lounge bar, comfy nights sleep. Negatives = requested room with a view but didn't expect building site right outside 5th floor window (see photo)...when we said we were disappointed with this at...

This was our third stay at the Cavendish and it has been a pleasure on each occassion. From the staff on check in, to the time we checked out all the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was well appointed and there were no signs of wear and tear on any of the fixtures and fittings. We did not...

I stayed with my daughter for a few nights in London. The hotel is in an excellent location, the superior room was well appointed/lovely bathroom and the staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. However we were in a connecting room and both mornings we were woken early by noise. The first morning at 6:30 with loud music from next door...

I recently spent a long weekend at the Cavendish. I needed somewhere near to the Royal Academy as I was on a course there. Perfect location for shopping, tube stations are nearby and there are lots of amazing shows and nightlife. I was greeted as I walked through the door and the excellent, friendly service continued throughout my stay.

The staff here are fabulous. They look after every need without being stuck up. The rooms are modern but nicer priced for the size. They are small ! The decor is modern BUT some of the rooms are a little tired. The breakfast is OK, but I would expect better based on the room rate.

Stayed in this hotel for business. Spectacular lobby but rooms are pretty average although very clean. Basic amenities and did expect a bit more of the stay. Ask for a quiet room unless you want to be woken up by the bins being emptied at 6am.

We loved the location - the basic rooms were great and very well equipped with comfy beds but there was no extra space. Good breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff a exception and the concierge desk. Would definitely stay there again.

Staying in St. James's

Neighbourhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
