Spent 2 nights in a Standard room on the 14th floor and it was wonderful. The location was perfect for us as everything we were doing during the day was in walking distance. The views were incredible, especially at night when you could see the London Eye, Westminster, the Shard etc all lit up. Check in was one of the...

Receptionist Amber gave us a great, warm welcoming. The first impression is so important. Our room was nice, clean and quiet with a nice bathroom. Loved the towel dryer. There is a quite nice restaurant with lovely food. Not breakfast though which is far too overpriced. A better choice is one of the many breakfast options close by. The lounges...

Our fourth visit to the Cavendish and still appreciating its wonderful location, friendly staff and great views. However, the breakfast standards are slipping and dare I say it I had a better cooked morning start at the Premier Inn at Stansted Airport recently! Also, since the Jermyn Street door has been closed the entrance is not good for pedestrians and...

We recently had an unplanned stay at The Cavendish after another hotel we were booked at moved us there due to "urgent maintenance issues". I can only thank whoever moved us, because the transfer of booking was seamless and staying at The Cavendish was a wonderful experience. From the welcome to the rooms, everything was just about perfect. Dinner at...

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Small but nice room with magnificent views over London. Very clean and quiet. Not a sound was heard from the outside. Walking distance to major attractions like Big Ben, London Eye, Kensington Palace, Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus and more. Also conveniently located clost to the underground.

Staying in St. James's

Neighbourhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
